Anarchy comes from Greek. It means "no leaders." Conservatism means having a capitalist boss rule everything. State-managed economies mean the government rules everything. Socialism and anarchy mean nobody rules anybody else, meaning the people rule.

I see politics as a triangle, not a right-left spectrum. The corners of the triangle are the government, the corporations, and the people. Fascists and Stalinists lean heavily towards the government. Republicans lean towards government and corporations, Democrats lean towards government and people, and anarchists are all people.

no no no, Lincoln was a Republican, yes. But not a conservative. Conservatism means staying the course or being very traditional to the way things have been. Lincoln's late stance on slavery was not at all conservative. Plus, his family was in no way "traditional" as conservatives routinely promote. If the modern republican party was more like Lincoln's philosophy, I actually would most likely join it. Economic responsibility and social equality are ideals that the party had lost over time.

Second, the American education system through High School dealing with American History is full of propaganda.
Third, when was the last time America finished a conflict successfully and "healed" that country other than Japan?
Slavery was wrong and it was against the beliefs of Christianity, which I thought was the basis of America.

Lincoln's late stance on slavery was not at all conservative. Plus, his family was in no way "traditional" as conservatives routinely promote.
