You can hide it more, you can put the shaker unit on the back side of the couch and move the amplifier unit out of the way. he just had it there so you can see it

You said that the plug goes into the sub woofer's output. How is that possible? shouldn't it be the sub woofer's input. since, your using a Y shape cable outputting from your receiver.
Do you have to buy the amp separately? My receiver has an output for a sub woofer.

Don't make the mistake like I did and buy a pair of USB headphones, the Buttkicker NEEDS to be used with the normal type of connection (a jack)
oh yeah, btw, the Logitech G35 headphones are fucking shit, no bass, and they are too big to even use 3D glasses with.
