@chalysepulveda It never got cancelled, i've been searching all over the net and there has not been a single sentence saying "DJ Hero" and "cancelled" together, more than likely you would see "DJ Hero" and "hiatus" together, hiatus meaning it is PUT ON HOLD, the Tony Hawk games were on hiatus for just one year after Tony Hawk's RIDE, the year after there were NO Tony Hawk games but guess what? This year they are releasing a new Tony Hawk HD remake of Pro Skater 1 and 2 and it was on "hiatus".

Well, that's not entirely true - they put the franchise on hiatus, a lot like what they did with Tony Hawk after the most recent games sucked ass. So in 2011 there was no DJ Hero, but maybe we might see it announced this year alongside a new Guitar Hero.

I guess i'm what you call a digital dj. I own a Numark Mixtrack/deck (deck is CDJ & built in soundcard)...

there are some usb digi decks on the cheap that will give u a start w/ & they start at $45 n up.

I'm far from great but I have determination and it shows!

@magicguitarist2 thats great when it sounds believeable! If ppl question it, your job is complete, that means u did a fantastic job. Now to wow ppl, go get one of the $45 usb dj midi controllers and I promise you'll be making some DJ Hero 3mixed tracks lol.

But trust me it will be a good investment because it will train you before u buy something expensive and can't use it and get frustrated. Don't go over $150 for ur first DJ Decks (Digital) cuz vinyls for that price really ARE CHEAP! lol

Correction, they did not cancel the franchise. It is only put in a hiatus. If you still think "hiatus" is another word for "cancellation", in a recent interview Bobby Kotick stated that Guitar Hero (which was said to have also been 'cancelled') is getting a REBOOT to the series soon. DJ Hero 3 is looking more than likely sometime 2012, maybe 2013 even.

As for your mix....eeeehhhhh it's not bad, pretty DJ Hero-esque but...FSG could probably make it MUCH MUCH better.

@maxninja09 I knew that. To me it's like canceld becuz all DJH work ceased...

I don't own a million dollar studio (software instruments, etc.) like FSG. So FSG COULD make it better. I would love to see them using my idea as far as flow, scratching, or free-styling in the next DJ Hero. But I won't let that stop me from keeping some ppl entertained while they get stuff sorted out.

@YC3tv Well to me it's not cancelled unless they specifically SAY it's cancelled. Work for the next game is only stopped, heck IN FACT, FreeStyleGames is still alive since Activision completely canned the Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock developers (now THAT is what i would think of a game being cancelled). FreeStyleGames is currently working on a "new project" with Activision, whether it's the next DJ Hero or something else nobody knows.

And your mix isn't bad, definitely want it for DJ Hero 3 :3
