You know I've always wondered why Earth didn't just build a satellite with sensors an asgard beaming instead of using the ships in orbit... that way they would not be dependant on a ship in orbit to go places around earth.

Well, normally you can always get me with with Stargate, or generally scifi stuff and cool ship battles, but the music was just a no go.

Especially since the original orchestral score from Stargate was still hearable and came through the Bon Jovi wall of not fitting music from time to time. Try to mute the original audiotrack, next time. I know, then the explosions and stuff are gone, too, but I'd rather have one music track, instead of two plus the FX.

It's an unidentified alien ship in 'The Daedalus Variations.' The ship and the Daedalus are both from (different) alternate realities. The reality with the alien ship was fast-forwarded. The Daedalus was destroyed fighting the Replicators about a year before the normal reality encountered the Asurans. This alien race may possibly arrive later on, given that the alternate reality had everything happen before normal reality. Ah, the wonders of Wikipedia when I've never seen Season Five. :P

Stargate science is elastic to say the least and the engines are called "Subspace Drives". This implies they're not normal rockets or fusion torches. It's possible they screw with physics to allow high speed and when they lose power the ship "Snaps back" to it's true slow speed state.

This is further implied by the myriad ships with no visible drive nozzles that still zoom around at C fractional speeds. Once you go their "logic" sort of fails since such a drive is impossible to begin with.

What? How do you figure that the Phoenix is in 5.20? It's not. GateWorld has the latest data on Enemy at the Gate and it says that it's the Daedalus that gets pwned by the Mega-Hive (which makes me wonder exactly what superweapon is going to replace the plasma beams). If the Phoenix is going to be around (if it'd even be called that (it violates the naming conventions of Greek mythology)), it'd be in the movie at the latest. Remember that it wasn't finished when Carter got it and they rushed it.

They Dident They needed to take out their Main weapons beacouse They Lowered Their shield so they Could Beam Sheppard and ronon To The Ship And They Also needed  the wraith to open the baydoors so sheppard could sneak onboard the Wraith Cuiser and save teyla SAVE SGA!
