The vocano, Snake, Skull car, and mineshaft deaths were always the funkiest:D The beehive death used to creep the shit out of me. The Marshland, woods, Jungle, and Ice were always the most atmosperic. My favorites will always be the Bramble, Vocano, mineshaft, bee hive, and Marshland death themes.

the reason that there are so many death themes is because each song in the soundtrack uses a different sample bank (the instruments the song uses) and one standard theme will not work with every bank.  it also allows for a more theme.

So, I remember something about the first or so level there's a trick to make it generate a DK coin that maxed out your amount, so I finished the game with all the gates unlocked,

then there's the additional area, and I don't remember if those levels had the DK coins too, but if it did, I must have; if I got 100% *every*thing, that's why I prolly was OK with selling that game.
