This is coming from a person who follows a religon who condemed plenty of people to death in the crusades. Arseholes all fo them. Probably they dont even know the true science behind it.
It is a slippery slope from a "savior sibling" and hybrid embryo to even more extreme forms of experimentation and use of humans as vehicles for science.
Are you ready for a scientific caste system where "savior siblings" are mere instruments for the use of their elder siblings?
Science should not be the "ends" of which humans are the "means."
Good for the Catholics to stand up to this complete railroading of ethics by a few extreme scientists and their British enablers.
I understand your point of view, and I agree that we have to keep a watchful eye on Scientists! However, both Prime Minister George Brown and his opposition Leader David Cameron, have children with problems that could benefit from this Science, so I understand why they would vote yes to this bill.
I'm sure if you had a loved one in this position you would do the same! How many people have donated organs to members of their family in order to save their life!

I think Pope Benedict lost all of his credibility when it was revealed that he covered up for pedophile Cardinals and Priests!
They should get their own house in order first, before they start lecturing us on "Right and Wrong!"
The pope is not lecturing, he is reminding that there are things bigger than ourselves.
As for the scandal, it was 4% of priests compared to 10% of accused teachers in public schools...does this negate the efforts of teachers as well?
As for disease, I have Parkinson's in my family and will say that there is more dignity is struggle of an affected life than in the debasement of the value of humankind a hubris-filled scientific race to "perfection."
I wasn't talking about the percentage of Cardinals and Priests abusing children. I was making a point about the Pope covering it up! His policy was that if a Priest was reported for sexual abuse, he was to be moved on to another diocese, and nothing would be said to the local people there! If he did it again, he would be moved on again!
He should have faced charges for this!

It is ridiculous to say that the pope "covered up" any actions by wayward clergy - the Vatican is not a small organization nor is it as centralized as Dan Brown or mass media would have you believe.

I didn't see anything in the newspapers about the Vatican suing Mass Media for "Slander", So all I can say to you is, my Biblical friend, "Go and Fuck Yourself! You "Brainwashed Moron!"
