  • Only in America, could a Muslim rise from obscurity, virtually overnight, to be the President of a nation founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic...

In other words, the preponderance of voters in Amerika are certifiably insane.

  • Barrack Hessein Obama is guilty of felony fraud and has gotten away withit for almost 4 yrs.

He is above the law apparently .

  • Who cares if Obama's birth-cert is fake or not; it would appear no-one's got the balls to do anything about it anyway; I mean, I'da thought the race-hate groups woulda outted him for skin-tone alone......leave the man to laugh in your faces already.

  • I agree it's odd, but not conclusive... I typed a lot when I was young... and I often had to manually adjust the spacing when I made a mistake. Yes, the typewriter cannot do that, but a human running the typewriter can.

  • my point is the "1"'s should be the same angle and not a zero changed to a one? he was born in 1960 not 61 his mom met his dad in 1959 during cuba block aid in summer of 59 and in fall i am sure they did it, thus born in 1960 ,i bet all his sealed school doc.s are private because its easyer to change 1 than all of them , i think the baby was brought in 10 or so days after he was born and at 1 yo could have passed for a 10 day old if he was a small sickly baby

  • its not the "a's" look at the "1" in 1961 .........why are the "1"'s not paralel , wish this guy would have pointed out those .......to me the ones are both on a dif angle and if it was printed with same typewriter they would be on same angle ?........the "0" or zero was removed and a "!" one was inserted ,he was born in 1960 folks ,in "summer of '59 his parents met during cuba crisis that summer and year later or 9 months later and being a small baby passed for a 61 birth

  • On a hammer-type typewriter, the hammer containing the desired character would be forced upwards either by mechanical pressure from the typist hitting the key, or by electric motors. It would rise towards the center where the ribbon was, strike it, and thus force ink onto the paper in the shape of the letter.

These hammers were guided into position by a metal guide shaped about like this: “/ \”. The gap at the top had some “slack” to it, otherwise it would “grab” the hammer and jam up.

  • @kdenninger, kerning is NOT just overlapping letters. Kerning is when two adjacent letters are made to overlap OVERHANGING PARTS, in such a way as to cause them to VISUALLY MESH. These are done by using KERNING PAIRS built into the FONT ITSELF (e.g. “VA,” ”AV,” “WA,” “AW”, “Ta”, “Te”, “To,” “T-,” etc.).

There are NO kerning pairs in a MONOSPACED font such as Courier, Courier New, Prestige Elite, Pica 10, etc. As someone else already said, that’d defeat the WHOLE POINT of a monospaced font!

  • @kdenninger, (cont.)

Furthermore, several of your purported examples of “kerning” involve an “an” pair in a monospaced SERIF font. No font designer nor typographer in his right mind would kern “n” to the left when typed after an “a” — as you yourself noted, the serifs RUN INTO each other, which is NOT visually pleasing!

Note that in all my posts on YouTube, on any subject, I use TRUE quotes, em dashes, etc. I’m a typography fiend. I’ve even HAND-CODED PostScript Type 3 fonts from SCRATCH!

  • What an idiot. You MAY know a bit about computers; you know NOTHING about mechanics, about wear, about the abuse an institutional typewriter has to take day after day.

This "kearning" is a simple matter of the advance mechanism wearing. Check out the word "Honolulu" , the letters are practically on top one another!

    You are the fraud, pal.

  • @harryubeast, Also, note that with a hammer-type typewriter (which this was very obviously done with), the particular direction in which a letter might shift due to the physical momentum of the hammer-top flying up to strike the ink ribbon is the OPPOSITE of the direction from which the hammer comes, which is where its keys are on the keyboard!

So, a letter on the LEFT side of the keyboard would tend to shift to the RIGHT, and VICE-VERSA!

Now look where [A] and [P] are on your keyboard!

  • @COMALiteJ its not the "a's" look at the "1" in 1961 .........why are the "1"'s not paralel , wish this guy would have pointed out those .......to me the ones are both on a dif angle and if it was printed with same typewriter they would be on same angle ?........the "0" or zero was removed and a "!" one was inserted ,he was born in 1960 folks ,in "summer of '59 his parents met during cuba crisis that summer and year later or 9 months later and being a small baby passed for a 61 birth

  • @koolratrods, Do you know how scanners work, and in particular, how Adobe Acrobat Pro’s Paper Capture subsystem works? The “1”s are not parallel for the same reason that the lines on the paper curve at the left: the certified copy was printed from a copy bound in a book, which caused the paper to be somewhat curved (especially at the left edge, but slightly throughout). Since scanners do not “see” letters but only PIXELS, they simply align what they see to the pixel grid.

  • @koolratrods, (cont.) This is exacerbated by the “Optimize Scanned PDF” function of the Paper Capture subsystem, which is AUTOMATICALLY INVOKED if you simply scan any document DIRECTLY into Acrobat (as opposed to scanning it with some other program, saving a .TIFF or .BMP or some such, then opening that into Acrobat).

This function among other things turns the gray tones of scanned letters black, exacerbating the effect of the pixel grid.

  • the shape of the "a"s are all different, too, K-man! Look. One is "squashed" compared to the other.

  • another thing, is there any kerning in the words of the birth certificate form document itself, onto which obama's info has been "typed"?

  • the proof would be if any other birth certificates surrounding the time of obama's birth did or didn't have evidence of the "kerning" suggested in your video. what about THAT??

  • I can't post the link here. however IBM has a history of the typewriter on their site. And as of 1941 proportional spacing was added.

with a regular typewriter the spacing is fixed width. However IBM had the technology with their selectric typewriters.

  • In 1941, the company added a new dimension to typewriter technology which Sholes, Jenne and others probably never dreamed possible: proportional spacing. A new carriage mechanism eliminated the uneven appearance of typewritten material where narrow letters, such as "i" and "1" occupy as much space as wide letters, such as "m" and "w." Proportional spacing gives each letter typed only as much space as necessary, and the development has greatly improved the appearance and the development has gre

  • The bottom line is: BHO Jr. is a DUAL-CITIZEN & NOT A NATURAL-BORN CITIZEN, as REQUIRED by the Constitution of the United States.

The Congress vetted McCain in 2008 & found him to be a NATURAL-BORN CITIZEN because he had 2 U.S. born parents. Obama's father was a BRITISH citizen & NEVER a U.S. citizen making his son a DUAL-CITIZEN...INELIGIBLE.

He also IS NOT THE 1ST AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRESIDENT, HE'S BI-RACIAL.

THESE ARE JUST THE FACTS...like it or not !

  • You can't claim that the letters "ap" in "Kapiolani" have been kerned when the letters "iol" in the very same word clearly have not. Likewise, every word you drag us to where you claim two characters have been kerned to be "more pleasing to the eye" there are other characters in the very same word that have not been kerned and are an eye sore.

It was a crappy typewriter. End of story. Your smug laughter just makes you sound stupid.

  • Why this argument is not convincing. OK, this doc image (non-paper) has kerning. Obama's team merely needs to make a new version -- without kerning. Then after release it, there will be PROOF The great one is eligible and that everybody who expects presidential candidates (except "white" ones like that dufus McCain, of course) provide requested documentation is a racist in need of psychological conditioning.

  • The word Kapiolani in box 6c. The second letter, that being the 'a' is different fin each document. ??

1:30 White House release, 4:00 scanned image by the AP.

The scanned image has been altered as well. ??

  • Would the Obots believe zero was born in Kenya if they heard from zero himself stating such? Prolly not cuz there is such a video uploaded to YT, all you need to do is search

  • It seems to me that the 'a' is always over to the right on this document, even when it overlaps the next letter. Kerning on a computer, as is stated in this video, would be because the computer or printer knows the next letter and so also knows when space is available. However, might not the consistency of the 'a' being to the right, and even overlapping the next character, indicate that there is a problem with a typewriter? Surely a computer would also know /not/ to overlap the next letter?

  • Typewriters in 1961 did not move the carriage the exact same distance between each character. Even the mighty IBM Selectric had this problem. A great example of carriage inconsistency is the "t" in University. Notice it is thicker - this is because the carriage actually moved while the "t" was being struck on the paper. Font kerning my hiney - it's just crappy 60's (probably 50's) typewriter. Also, computers don't kern a monospaced font - defeats the purpose of using a monospaced font.

  • I don't care where Imam obama was born. I do care about the horrible way he is conducting himself as the Resident in Chief. He's doing a terrible job. One doesn't leap from being a community agitator to Resident. If that were the case, Jesse Jackson would have been a Resident as well. As for his grades, I bet he was a sub-par B student. That's not bad working a regular job, It's not good if you're the Resident like he is. Go away Barry Soetoro & take Moochelle w/you.

  • I know that U voted 4 BARRY BUT U R making the LIBERALs real mad- It will cost the LIBERALS a lot of money 2 buy EXPERTS to say that it was the copy machine- or COPY machine software- The DEMOCRATS shoulda hired better FORGERs- How can we TRUST a PRESIDENT that can't make a decent FORGERY-? Anyway the JUDGES R ALL bought and paid 4 - so ALL the suits will be thrown out- Arent there any HONEST LIBERALs??

  • Hey kdenninger why don't you go to Congress and tell them about what you think about Obama's bc instead you are posting it here? why is that?

Are you afraid that they will pee in your pants laughing at you?

  • guys, just now I noticed that the pdf file BC on the White house is not loading when you check on if from the WH page, I get an error in loading and I have try it with two browsers. I guess they finally see that it being assembled was a problem, so decided to disable the pdf,

  • clever he used the White House BC and the AP Certificate next to each other, but what about the Nordyke twin's certificate the birthers love so much? They have the same kerning space in the "lani" in Kapiolani and the same kerning space in the "ono" in Honolulu. Making this the easiest example to disprove by example, and actually hurts your argument because from this "evidence" Nordyke twin certificate must be fake too. kerning as evidence of fake = DEBUNKED

  • Barack Hussein Obama II was born August 4, 1961 at the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya and not in Hawaii as he claims. A high resolution copy of Obama's Kenyan birth certificate is available for free download at WasObamaBornInKenya (DOTcom) …The fascinating story of how Lucas Daniel Smith obtained a certified copy of Obama's birth certificate from the birth hospital is included as part of his 'July 4, 2010' Letter to Congress', which is also available at the same website.

  • @bsteadman1 That fortged Kenyan birth certificate had so many agregious mistakes in it that even that nutty Taitz woman had to admit that she had been duped! ROFL! You people are seriously pathetic if you actually believe the crazy things you're going to such extremes to convince us that you believe.

  • @bsteadman1 Recycling old debunked Kenyan bc wont make them true even if you repeat them. Did you know that all the 76+ lawsuits against Obama's bc have been dumped? Go look.( Many of the judges are Republicans.)

  • @clarity023 "Channel unavailable"

  • @bsteadman1, in addition to what @lacaliffa1288 said, the ACTUAL person who FAKED that Kenyan birth certificate that Orly Taitz fell so hard for PUBLICIZED •EXACTLY• •HOW• HE FAKED IT!!

He even showed photos of the materials he used! He listed the (inexpensive) cost of each one, and ended with, and I quote:

“• Punkin’ the Birthers: priceless!” (a la old MasterCard commercials)

Also, the certificate itself has real problems. E.g., Mombosa wasn’t in Kenya at the time, but in Zanzibar.

  • I am just curious about 2 things and was wondering your opinion. If this 'long-form' is real, why didn't they just release this one to begin with? And second is why did Obama pay million(s) (not sure of the amount) to keep this certificate and school records hidden to begin with? None of this makes sense to me and j/w what other ppl think?

  • Irrespective of where Obama was born,OBAMA IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE USA!!! WHY?

    2 SITES TO CHECK:

    1) Attorney Mario Apuzzo's site at puzo1 blogspot com. Click on the link at the right entitled "NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRES BOTH PARENTS TO BE U.S. CITIZENS" at puzo1.blogspot.com 2009 09 natural-born-citizen-clause-requires html

    2) Several articles on WorldNetDaily at wnd com under “Is Obama constitutionally eligible to serve?”

Use Google com to get the full web addresses.

  • To be the President of the USA, the Constitution of the USA indicates that he must be "a natural born citizen". To be a natural born citizen, he MUST meet 2 conditions:

    1) he must be born in the USA. EXPERTS MUST CHECK THE ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE!

    2) he must be born of two American parents! Obama's father was NEVER an American!

    BOTH conditions are required!

Hence, Obama is NOT a natural born citizen and is NOT eligible to be President of the USA!

  • you don't show how the only part of all 3 signatures that is legit is "unham Obama" or mention that the white house removed the pretty green copy and put the old white copy up.

  • @kdenninger clever you used the White House BC and the AP Certificate next to each other, but what about the Nordyke twin's certificate the birthers love so much? They have the same kerning space in the "lani" in Kapiolani and the same kerning space in the "ono" in Honolulu. • @Shean2010

Jesus Effin Chirst, I know it's a typewriter but it uses ribbons different than the old typewriters. They didn't have the one's you mentioned back in 1960s. Why is that so hard to understand. Go to Google and type in Brother typewriter, you'll get the ones that type words and sentences.

  • youre hot

  • Regardless of whether this document is real or fake, you have not shown kerning on the part that appears to be typewritten. Rather, you have illustrated that the lowercase a was out of alignment. Look at other places where the lowercase a is followed by an n. A computer would NOT kern the a and n together that way. This is a monospace font. The lowercase t is out of alignment too.

  • @Shean2010

I know what you are talking about. I used to have one where you can even erase a letter or even a word. Since you used black ribbons for ink and white to erase. I had one where it was made by Brother. It was the next step to the old typewriter and became obsolete after PCs,

  • I'm not convinced -- I've seen too many mechanical typewriters where the letters land unevenly on the page. Here's a test: have you tested your theory against some of the other birth certificates from the same time and place? If they show the same thing, then you have proved nothing (other than your tendency to rush to judgement).

  • Wow, isn't that amazing people seeing what they want. My birth cert. from the mid 70's has just the same problem demonstrated here. And mine is original from the time and done on a typewriter. This argument is just plain ridiculous. Get over it and give it up. And no, I am not an Obama supporter.

  • @Shean2010

I think what you are talking about isn't a typewriter but rather a word processor. Back in the 80's I used to have one...

  • Zoom the original PDF to 1200% in Acrobat Reader. The word "OBAMA" appears twice, once for the baby, once for the dad. Look closely - they're pixel-for-pixel identical - one is a copy of the other. Ooops. NEXT: This was allegedly printed from microfiche onto green security pattern paper and then scanned. Really? Then why is the resolution on the green background LOWER than on the B&W text such as "OBAMA"? Go look for yourselves. It's a fake from top to bottom, digitally assembled. WTF?

  • @1jimmarch CORRECT - i saw the same thing but not theses dumb dumb folks are not accepting the truth that it was assembled --- they are too dumb or lazy to bring in up the reader and look for themselves - the shocking thing is that the white house still has not replaced the pdf on their site, with another better version - do they want the prez to be called out on this or what? - or do they think all Americans are dumb and will see it, wtf is right

  • now that osama is dead... 'certifi-gate' is magically over.

is it coincidence these two events were days apart? one

conveniently overshadowing the other? wake up retards.

  • If a manual typewriter jams it needs to be released. What happens is somebody shoves their fingers in the machine and pushes at the hammers, left and right. It is entirely consistent that the a has been shifted slightly to the right. It is these kinds of variations which are used to determine which machine typed a particular document. Would not a consistently right-shifted a be just the kind of detail which makes it look more authentic rather than less?

    This is standard forensic stuff.

  • Has anyone heard any news on Donald Trump's progress on investigating Obama's birth certificate?

  • @Skywitness Trump won't release it until he "decides" to run for President. Honestly, I don't think he's found anything nor is there really an investigation. He's just saying it to appear as if he's trying to prove something.

  • I've seen something called an IBM Executive, electric typewriter from the 60s. Used a plastic presstype ribbon (use once/throw away). It did proportional spacing too. i and l were 2 units. M & W 5 or 6. Backspace did one. 2 space bars, one a 2 unit and the other 3 unit. So it could do that kerning, especially if out of calibration. But it use Times Roman chars not Courrier. It was a devil to use but could produce publishable copy.

  • beautiful <3

    thanks for this

  • So in this video it looks like the letter 'A' used in the typewriter in question may have been a little off or something. Is that what you are saying? Because both times the letter ran into the next letter it was with an A. So the A, when typed, was off. Who cares.

  • Where is the FBI when you need them? Asleep at the wheel once again.

  • Comment removed

  • All of the "a"s are shifted slightly to the right, which is typical of a typewriter from 1961. This is pretty sloppy Karl.

  • I would say that's not kerning, that's a mono-spaced typewriter font. Of course there are gaps between adjacent glyphs occasionally, but that's only because

    a) the glyph doesn't necessarily occupy the entire width of the hammer, and

    b) the spacing between successive hammer strikes isn't always exactly the same with a mechanical typewriter

I thought your earlier vid exposing the aliasing around some characters was more convincing, personally.

  • The evidence Karl just provided that this certificate is FAKE is overwhelming. You're correct Karl, no typewriter can do the things we see done on this document. The biggest con job ever pulled on the American people is called Obama. They lie so much that I no longer believe anything they say. Now everything must be PROVED, including the recent OBL was just killed story.

  • Your assumptions may be little to fast, you may be wrong at this point.

Certain letters can always me misaligned in a mechanical device like a typewriter, none is identical. Like finger the finger print used in weapen forensics when exaimining a bullet.

Kerning not the same as what you found here. Measure each & ever letter with a grid that has the right distances for each letter (non-proportional off course), and see which letters deviate due to mechanical flaws of the typewriter used.

  • I still believe Obama was born in Hawaii. He was a congressman and now his President with his first term close to being over. Can you please move on Kdenninger?

  • I was skeptical until this. the ni spacing in University is way off compared to other letters too.

  • I was skeptical until this.

  • Not just kerning, but the layering is there from photoshop! The "e" at the end of "none" wasn't on the original doc. Obama's Mother is also forged. It's "Ann D" and that's it. LOOK UP THE LAYERING. Obama's father is listed as African, when it should be Negro. It is a horrible fake on purpose. Imagine how poorly they think of us. They don't even have to have a good forgery, the public is too dumb and slave like. Obama is enslaving blacks mentally, and they don't get it.

  • has any obama defender explained WHY the bohWH would take the trouble to OPTIMIZE a scan intentionally ...to make certain text CLEARER for us skeptics because he loves us and wants to help ? ...while fully KNOWING that ANY such procedure would gain them nothing but MORE doubt ,outrage and suspicion? ...THEN they leave the dubious layers unflattened to show their meddling?.....wouldnt it be much more likely that they would just SCAN it normally and say "here asswipes ,now STFU"

  • Too late, the Osama news just put this one to bed. How convenient and on May Day also.

  • Thanks for sharing your opinions on this subject. Great points pointed out and seems pretty obvious it was tampered with. I've been looking for evidence to prove that it was not tampered with and 100% original but have yet to find any, if someone has a good article on the matter I'd like to read or view it. Until further evidence shows otherwise, this seems to have clearly been altered.

    Thanks again Karl!!

  • Great work Karl...thanks for speaking out.

  • It is hard to argue against this. The proof is in the document. You cannot deny that there are many questions about Mr. Obama's birth certificate. Just check out your own birth certificate and do the same tests. Grab someone else's birth certificate and examine it. In each and every case we would not notice the glarring problems that we see in Obama's certificate. Something is rotten in Denmark. Or shall we say in Washington....

  • Seems odd to claim Kerning as the cause when the results are seen through out the entire document. In fact the only reason some letters do not overlap in the instances you've shown are because the design of the letters themselves. The lines for the Y are above the lines for the A, therefore there is a gap. The A, and the N overlap because the lines for each are in the same spot on the page.

    Just something to think about.

  • thanks great vid .......nice work

  • nice video kdenninger, what is your background? You seem to know a lot about imagining and scanning.

  • what about the entire left side, looks like it curves away and has extra junk, like it was scanned out of a book (imperfectly), before it was layered over the certificate paper

  • There is kerning on all the similar birth certificates. Karl - he was born here, it is no big deal. he still does not qualify because he is not natural born to two parents, but no one will got there, too complex.

  • aside from hair splitting, why would an honest person sit back "bemused" for two and a half years by the chaos created by their own lack of co-operation and their families gossip about their national origins and then blame those who doubt the authenticity of the said documents for only asking them to be produced?

you work is precious, thankyou for your analysis, im gonna show this to every secretary i know- let us end this cabals empire and free the american people inturn the world with it!

  • question if they let out the birth paper on the white house web site then should not the state of Hawaii now let a person order the paper public information act from them now if it is so public!!!!

  • It's a magical Typewriter called Barry.

  • It's official the "Obama" document is a fake

Great video; I will show this to as many folks as I can!

  • You just jumped the shark

  • Just a thought , it would appear that the letter "a" plus some other letters are drifting off slightly to the right.. My guess is that the type writer is abit worn (it would of been used alot) and the metal armatures which hold these letters inplace are bent or slightly out of alignment.

  • You note the kerning, yet you reply to a comment that "the letters match up vertically." Those two formatting possibilities are mutually exclusive. You can't have kerning and monospaced fonts - you can have one or the other, but not both. The letters in the lines of text all match up vertically. There are imperfections that are common, such as the small case "a" being shifted to the right a millimeter or two. Typewriters are analog and imperfect, but relatively consistent, as is this doc.

  • @shdwlynxjunk The birth certificate doesn't even look like type written font. Compare it to any real type written thing online. Look for examples of the letter t next to y. They are spaced apart in real type written documents very differently than in the Obama one. In verified type written docs they have a distinct position apart from each other. In the Obama birth cert. they are on top of each other - something a typewriter wouldn't do. Search for "typewritten documents" for examples.

  • You need to all your info to Donald Trump.

  • @zimbotiger Because you have to examine the ORIGINAL. Isn't it convenient how Obama has managed to prevent that from happening?

  • @kdenninger What you point out is so much easier to see on the webpage you provided. Thank you for doing this video.

  • It was not Osama Bin Laden that got that burial at sea.. It was the guy that forged the Obama birth certificate.

  • Baracula - a photoshopically natural born citizen.

  • No machine "knows" what you are going to type next. It may "assume" what the next letter may be based on the words listed in its preinstalled dictionary. Also, computer software "adjust" the spacing AFTER the letter is typed.

  • Typically, when you are adopted, a new birth certificate is issued for you and the original one is sealed. And, for all intents and purposes, the new one is the official one. Plus, neither becomes a "work of fiction". So, what state were you adopted in? I will see what that states says about your "eligibility".

  • @rpierre777 On the contrary; if my birth parents were not both citizens, I'm ineligible. Period.

  • @kdenninger Actually, on the contrary, what I presented to you is the law. Now, I can get the exact law if I knew what state you were adopted in. Also, citizenship of a child is not determined by BOTH parents-just one of them. That's also the law.

  • @kdenninger Actually, on the contrary, what I presented to you is an overall view of the law. Now, I can get the exact law if I knew what state you were adopted in. Also, citizenship of a child is not determined by BOTH parents-just one of them. That's also the law. Title 8, Section 1401, states, "Any one born in a U.S. possession, if one parent is a citizen and lived in the U.S. for at least one year "

  • @kdenninger "Dred Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1857): In regard to the "natural born citizen" clause, Justice Benjamin R. Curtis states in his dissenting opinion that such citizenship is acquired by place of birth (jus soli), not through blood or lineage (jus sanguinis):" What makes a person a natural born citizen was defined by the Supreme Court in 1857. Now, if you were born outside the US, then, yes, both parents have to be citizens (section 1402).

  • Regarding your adoption "issue", what state do you live in?

  • stop challenging him already. admit defeat. It's like trying to argue 1+1 doesn't equal 2.

  • @redbones01 Not really. He hasn't proven anything. He makes a lot of assumptions based on discrepencies that may have been cause by his computer imaging software.

  • @rpierre777 he makes ONE assumption. It's not an assumption that the text is kerned or that the scanned bitmap doesn't have chromatic aberrations, vertical misalignment etc etc, those are facts.

  • @Iamfatbrain So, you believe that govt document produced in the '60's were bitmap images? Bitmap images are for digital imaging-not typewriters. If a document was typed by a typewriter and then later scan into a computer and saved as a bitmap image, it won't be exactly like the original at all. This is because the computer attempts to make a digital representation of what it "see's" and tries to copy it the best it can. That's why different photo software gives different quality of pictures.

  • @rpierre777 that was stupid. Who would argue that a scanned image would be EXACTLY LIKE THE ORIGINAL? Not even my DSLR can accurately represent the forest outside my house, does that mean that the forest could in fact be plants, or that the picture really depicts a bunch of cars? And the quality of the scanned image shouldn't depend on the software used, but the hardware!

  • 1~@Iamfatbrain That's my point exactly. The image you view online ISN'T the original that was typed. It is a scanned image. To use your example, yes, your DSLR can't accurately represent the forest outside your house just like a picture of a birth certificate won't be an exact representation of the real thing. So, to analyze a picture of the BC to determine the legitimacy of the real is the same as analyzing your DSLR image to determine the real of the forest, right?

  • @rpierre777 the image still contains lots of information, e.g. vertical misalignment can't be the result of compression or low resolution. It's like you're arguing that you can only know these things by looking at the paper original, which isn't the case.

  • @Iamfatbrain No, I'm not saying you can only look at the original as an absolute statement. What I'm saying is imaging software is not 100% accurate-which you even acknowledge. There were typewriters made before Obama was born that allowed varied spacing. So, not all the letters were perfectly aligned. This is something kdenninger refused to admit. Basically, he and others like him are going out of their way to disprove Obama's eligibility. If not, then where's the video analyzing Bush's BC?

  • @rpierre777 stop trolling! There's nothing wrong with imaging software, it's the scanning hardware that has the limitations you're complaining about. What model/brand of typewriter before 1962 kerned text? Don't change the subject.

  • 1~@Iamfatbrain Im not "trolling". Scanning software and imaging software both have their own limitations. The quality of a scanned imaged is determined by the imaging format you save it as. The Electromatic Model 04 electric typewriter built in 1941 used varied spacing instead of uniform spacing. So, there were variations in the spacings on some typewriters in the 60's. Im not changing the subject at all. kdennings talks about the type of typewriters.

  • @rpierre777 when you scan the image, the software doesn't destroy information, only when you want to save it do you get the OPTION to destroy information (by choosing a lossy file format such as jpeg), but only a idiot would do that. Electromatic Model 04 according to IBM had "proportional spacing", which is something completely different from kerning.

  • 2~@Iamfatbrain It has been proven that faxing, scanning, and/or copying a Word document does create random baseline irregularities. If this is true of Word documents, why can't it be true of others? This guy (I don't know his name) took a memo, scanned it to his computer. He printed it out in Word and as a PDF. The alignment in Word was off at some points, while the PDF was more like the original. Same document/scanner with two different results based on the program used to print/view it.

  • @rpierre777 I fail to see why you're changing the topic? It's not small irregularities kdenninger has pointed out in his videos. The small irregularities you talk about doesn't apply in this context. Stop changing the topic.

  • @Iamfatbrain How exactly am I changing the topic? Isn't the topic "the irregularities in the released birth certificate and how based on the technology of that time it was impossible that what was released was used then"? If Im missing something about the topic, let me know. Also, his whole video is based on the small irregularities, isn't it? That's what kerning is all about...small irregularities in the spacing as it relates to the printing of other letters on the same document, right?

  • @rpierre777 kerning is not something typewriters do, kerning (in computer aided desktop publishing) allows you to have adjacent characters invading each others "bounding boxes", it's to make the text more pleasing to the eyes. Small irregularities can tell you a lot about the document. Especially if those irregularities are only visible on parts of the text/document.

  • 2~@Iamfatbrain Also, the quality is based on the image SOFTWARE. You can change the quality of a picture by editing it. Try it. Open up a photo and decrease the sharpness or the brightness. In doing so, you haven't changed the hardware (components used to build the computer), but the coding (the software programming used to determine how the image is displayed on the screen). Hardware has minimum and maximum ranges it can operate. Software is the means by which you adjust the output.

  • 3~@Iamfatbrain Photoshop and Photoprint are two different photo programs. They differ in quality and abilities (what you can do with the picture). These are software-meaning you have to install the program with a disk that contains codes on your computer to use them. They aren't hardware. You can't remove them by taking off the computer cover and disconnection wires/boards or desoldering components.

  • 4~@Iamfatbrain So, with that being said, if you acknowledge that your DSLR can't accurately represent anything, then why do you believe that this image of his BC is an exact representation of the original without question? Now, THAT's stupid....

  • @rpierre777 seriously? Define "exact representation". And also, point out where I said that the birth certificate displayed in this video was an exact representation of the original. Surely, you must be a troll! (phun intended)

  • @Iamfatbrain Exact:

    1. strictly accurate or correct: an exact likeness; an exact description.

    2. precise, as opposed to approximate: the exact sum; the exact date.

    3. admitting of no deviation, as laws or discipline; strict or rigorous.

    Representation:

    1. the act of representing.

    2. the state of being represented.

    3. the expression or designation by some term, character, symbol, or the like.

kdennings believe this is "the expression" and "an exact likness" of the original.

  • @Iamfatbrain Im no troll. If you don't believe this is an exact representation, then why do you believe that the "flaws" found therein are the results of forgery and not the shortcomings of a imperfect typewriter?

  • @rpierre777 what's an "imperfect typewriter"? One that kern text? Sounds like an beneficial trait, not a flaw. Also I was expecting a "I'm not a troll and please don't call me Surely!". Hah

  • @Iamfatbrain I thought about that, but decided not to write it...:)

  • @Iamfatbrain All bitmap images can be altered. Try this: open a picure in Photoshop, open it as a bitmap, open it as JPEG, open it as TTF, and then compare them to see if they are an exact match to each other. You will notice a variation in pixels, too. Now, if you try to open it as one of these and you get an error, that means the computer can't convert it to that format-this is also known as being "non-compatible".

  • @rpierre777 again, more stupid stuff. Who argues that a bitmap image can't be changed? Also I wouldn't open an image as some other format than what it was originally saved as. If I have a TIFF (lossless) opening it "as" a JPEG (lossy) would destroy information.

  • I wish you could've included a copy of the Nordykes' (sp?) BC for comparison purposes.

  • @rpierre777 It sure does if one of my parents wasn't a citizen.

  • @kdenninger So, which law is that? Which amendment? What part of the constitution validates your assumptions?

  • @kdenninger So, you don't know of any laws that says if one of your parents is not a citizen, then you are ineligible for president....Why take a position on the law when you don't know it? That's like a lawyer trying to prosecute a murder case and don't know the laws regarding murder. It's like a tax lawyer trying to fight the IRS and don't know the tax laws or codes.

  • @rpierre777 Denouncing citizenship in Indonesia after adoption and becoming a citizen of Indonesia IS a big problem. A dual citizen is a problem. Keeping 2 passports upon returning to the U.S. is a big problem. Lawyers across the U.S. like me know these are all problems. What we do not know is what his being removed on these grounds would do to all the orders he has already implemented.

  • @mediatingmensan So, were you adopted in Indonesia and became a citizen of Indonesia? I don't understand what an adoption in Indonesia has to do with this aspect of the topic of US laws regarding citizenship.

  • Good work, Karl. Now not only do we suspect the cert was a fake, just like the latest OBL story, but thanks to you we can SEE that it's a fake. Ignor the troll morons, Obama is no the President of the USA than I am. End of long drawn out and thouruoghly evaded story.

All Americans should just move to Disneyland, it's a far more pleasant fantasy than the life you currently have. At least there everyone knows that everything is fake and done for effect.

  • I see all the points but it's so hard to believe that Obama wouldn't get the best forger to do this and would make so many mistakes. It's baffling.

  • @hac5x3 It's hard to believe because it wasn't done by anyone on behalf of Obama. It was done on behalf of the person making this video.

  • Hey ticker dude/ Notice the a's in Kapiolani and Materernity there are three different a's used! They are not the same a, eh.

  • @zimbotiger Because these people would rather pee their pants looking at letters and babbling on about no one use "African" or "Caucasian" for race in 1961

  • I CHALLENGE you, Karl.

Google 1961 Hawaii birth certificate. Go to "images." click on the first one. it's a nice big sample. Do the same analysis. Go ahead, I'll wait...

  • @crubeo hear hear

  • @freekzero Hey, I love Karl. I think he's a real Patriot. But on this, he's just flat wrong. He keeps trying to find different pieces of evidence and they keep falling apart. Facts are facts.

  • @crubeo I know nothing of Karl so I won't refer to his status as a Patriot, but I will say that while passion for a cause is always admirable, the Achilles heal of such passion is frequently an inability to maintain an objective focus, which leads to situations like this. The object of passion needs to be TRUTH, regardless of which outcome you prefer.

  • @crubeo I don't think Karl accepts challenges

  • @gmfutube I hope you are wrong, because if he doesn't, then he shouldn't be challenging Obama (whom I believe should have responded to the disbelievers years ago - perhaps the allegations seem silly to him, but he serves the American people, so if they question with even remotely reasonable points, he should be obliged to respond - and not with something as stupid as that "optimized" document).

  • @crubeo I did on one of the first ones I found that had blacked out details to protect the person (and was in a high enough resolution to examine.) It's real. It passes all the expected behavior for an ACTUAL typewriter (and a worn one at that) including exhibiting proper horizontal alignment across the entire document, pixelation changes on compress and the "kerning" - when it shows up, it's consistent on a given letter pair (wear .vs. forgery) See the thread on the forum if you want the link

  • @kdenninger I really wish I could find a circa 1961 certificate from Kapiolani Hospital so I could compare the "ap" that you think are kerned, If I find one, I'll let you know. Which forum are you referring to?

  • An update tape would be worth it. If I knew anything about this subject i would be watching all the vids on this issue and writing a book.

  • It's a fake.

  • all you've proven is that the "a" on the typewriter was misaligned.... you can see the a bleed into the other letters several times

  • @alienzulu

It also happens with letters other than the "a". Watch the video again.

  • Ticker-Guy is waaaaaaaaaay smarter than Obama.
