  • The simple idea that consequence is a result of action, (or inaction) is exactly that, very simplistic. The illusion (or delusion ?!) that one has control of his or her fate through his actions or thoughts is prehistoric! We can all have our cake and eat together, all at the same time too, as soon as we learn to quiet our weakest attribute, ..our minds.......

  • Very logical and somewhat intelligent responses. The problem is that you are "thinking" "in the box'. Where there is fear of anything contrary to ourselves, whether it be a person or an idea or thoughts become very limited.

  • If you live in Africa, Asia, central or South America, do yourself a favor and do not look for guidance from modern America or Europe. Look to Aristotle, Galileo, Isaac Newton, Ben Franklin, John Locke, and Ayn Rand. Look at John D. Rockafeller, James Jerome Hill and J. P. Morgan. What makes a country wealthy? The extent to which it respects the rights of its citizens. The rights of each man to persue his own happiness. The right to plan, produce and keep your wealth and life.

  • It is interesting for me to watch these universal rights videos. I am not amazed at why people are so confused about what rights are and where they come from. There is so much contradiction within the universal rights doctrine that it obliterates the meaning of rights. Rights only concern action, they are not a claim on the goods and services produced by another man. A claim on the goods and services of another man violates the rights of the producer or provider of that product or service.

  • It is a noble thing to fight in order to protect the country in which you live. I don't think you should be fighting to save people you don't know and have nothing to do with. Why would you sacrifice your life for someone you don't even know? Perhaps it is job and livly hood. If so, the life of a mercenary is valid, my own brother is one, but he doesn't do it because he thinks he is saving the world. He does it as a job.

  • You can't simply ask for freedom. Freedom means a lot of things to different people. It is easy to ask for freedom, but freedom requires a very specific type of government. It is not a simple majorty rules democracy. Freedom requires a constitution that limits what the majorty can vote on. One restriction is that no individual's rights can be violated do the actions of other men. No man has the claim on another man's life. Freedom doesn't mean goods and services are free. That is slavery.
