You'll struggle to see my picking style, I'm afraid, with my fat fingers and the fact that I pick with fingers 2, 3 & 4 while my index finger just points at the ground (due to accident as a kid) hah! This is alternating bass pattern, if you watch the thumb, it keeps a steady swing between the bass strings ie. on the C chord you pluck 5 string 4 string 6 string 4 string on G pluck 6 string 4 string 6 string 4 string, I will put up a slowed down version for you by Saturday night.

Thanks fogroopa, The one thing I would say is practice then practice and practice some more. It might take months to get your first fingerpicking tune down, especially Alternating bass style, but hopefully the next gets a bit easier.
