Saltillo Mexico plant only produces 8 trucks daily......the cost per truck is about 50% higher than American built.......because of added security busing of employees and higher electric costs all while sales orders are off by 80% of normal. Daimler trucks has proven losses before as well as Chrysler some say they lost about -40 billion so far. (Its just a bad company that makes good product) Freightliner was the best when CF owned it.
