The one he uses is called a ghost staff

And one that opens up would be a telescopic staff at a guess but iv not seen one like that and I would imagine it would be weaker than a solid one

That's an XMA bo staff - you can get them almost anywhere. They are light and flashy and look good for forms but not good for actual striking. Practice with a wood bo and then an XMA type bo for competitions

the hands are like for a black star with nunchucks but it's with a staff. pretty cool and it looks simple and easy to do
