  • notice how he pronounces Chiraa-Xoor

  • they have to be seen live, i was completely blown away...

    f... amazing....

  • I saw them at Earlham College last Sept. I still can't get the smile off my face and it is two months later. I was fortunate enough to have a picture taken with Sayan Bapa after the show. He was charming and very kind. If they are anywhere near me again, I know I will be there.

  • I am a little bit jealous. but otherwise i´m happy for you that experinced them live!

  • I had the extreme priveledge of being IN this audience at the Philadelphia Folk Festival! Let me tell you, Huun Huur Tu was the talk of Fest that year! Everybody was blown away!

  • Absolutely wonderfull.

    Horse imitation is great!

    I am an absolute fan.

    Greetings,

Alex mantua of Alex Van de Meulebroecke

  • Incredible music.

  • Way to go TUVA :D ... I had the great chance of going to a Sainkho Namtchylak concert in my city and it was AWESOME

  • what a great thing...

  • great song.

    thank you for posting this.

    thank you Tuva.

  • they are not turks nor mongolian nor russian! they're tuvan.. tuva is an independent republic but it used to be part of russia

  • Tuva is not turks.there are mongolian.speak mongolian.this song as well mongolian.before 50 years russia took this land

  • They are not mongolian. Mongolian means they are from Mongolia. They are a Mongol people, but they are technically ethnic Turkic people. Turkic and Turkish are very different. Another way of explaining it is like Malay and Malaysian. Malaysians are from Malaysia, but Malays constitute the entire ethnic group of people. I hope i explained that clearly.

  • for your information... dig around and you will find a video of Huun Huur Tu (Münich 2002) there Sayan talks about Tuvan language and says "It is an old Turkish... very old"

Ethnic origin, and nationality are two different things... ethnic origins are determined by physical and cultural features... for example horse is a very common symbol of Turkis culture or look at their eyes... that shape is a very common facial shape... today no one in Turkey have such facial features :)

  • kahrolsun dinsiz imansız atsızcıların ırkçılığı yaşasın ülkücülük.ulan şerefsiz sen bak atalarımız tarihte hiç ırkçılık yapmış mı.kahrolsun ıtrkçılık yaşasın milliyetçi hareket...

  • olum bozkurtların öümü adlı kitapta türkler böyle anlatılmıyor.giyimleri falan böyle deil türklein bunlar çinlilere benziyo.ayrıca bugün tuvalıların yaşadığı yer ergenekondur

  • kes sesini yalnizkurtfk.

  • a.q türkleri rezil ediyoolar.3 kıtaya uygarlık götüren osmanlı mı türk bularr mı çıok fark var arada

  • sen bi susta rezil etme biz türkleri. evet senle çok farkları var, onlar senin gibi kültürsüz değiller

  • I understand Tuva is a small republic in southern Russia; it borders on Mongolia. At least that's where it is on Goggle Earth.

  • Happy is the one who says, "I'm a Turk".

    Ne mutlu "Türküm" diyene.

    panturkizm

    TURAN

  • Tuva is a small province in the North Western corner of Mongolia. It is a highland culture comprised mainly of herders and farmers. They have developed a unique style of throat singing which in their language is called Khoomei.

  • hey this is mongolian national song and clothes. not turkes.

  • Gerçek Türk müziği, muhteşem. Türk müziğinin sese ve enstrümanlara olan hakimiyeti gayet açık.

  • thx for this video! amazing!

  • cool!

  • beautiful beautiful beautiful

  • They just keep getting better! I have been following Hun Huur Tu for many years, and musically they just keep developing. Wonderful! And yes it is a Bull Scrotum.

  • Steve Sklar said at a Chicago show that that percussion instrument is a bull scrotum. Is that true?

That's unfortunate that the voice is not synced up with the video.

  • Yes. It is called a dazhaanning khavy, and is made of bull scrotum and sheep kneebones.

  • Very good video, greetings from brotherland(Hungary) ; ))

  • These guys have been my favorits since a found a record of them a few years back, but I've never seen a viedo with them. Thank you so much for tubing this!
