@glabutis37 Missing your mom, it's the emotion. The missing is letting you know there's a thought that needs your attention, like a child having a nightmare. There are reasons why you experience the missing... those reasons are the thoughts that can be put to question .... and then do the turn around on those. There are worksheets on the Byron Katie website and with those you can do the whole the process of The Work and that could be helpful and bring some clarity.
@osip7315 How does one contradict the clarity of 'now'? you could argue with reality - this is true. but wouldn't you have stress? i would. if i have stressful thoughts i can keep them if i want to but i'd rather have clarity.
@zenwebdev its seems to me you are trying to deny stress and its impact on thought ! i'm not surprised byron appeals to you, you both make the same mistake though in different ways !
Very profound insight about how we project unto life and do the exact same thing unto death. Incredible it is to begin to understand that all we are seeing are our own projections (rather than reality, as it is). Beyond those projections all is new, all is now. Even the past is a projection unto the present. Is that one of those things one sees that she was saying is shocking? For me it certainly is!
How can you turn around I miss my mom so much and I'm sad. My mom died two weeks ago, I can't do (the work) :(

@osip7315 You need to contradict her in an intelligent useful way. You do it.

Love Katie - as always - the clearest 'Mirroring Method' on the planet. Awakening is happening en masse on our planet.
