  • These huge portions seen in American restaurants today.....it wasn't always like this.....I am old enough to remember a time when portions were much smaller (and people were less fat)......I think it ended up being a business decision by restaurant owners to serve more food....because....the larger quantities they buy the better deal they get, can serve more food at about the same price and beat out the competition who is serving smaller portions

  • The food looks amazing, but I must say..it's a bit offensive to see chopsticks placed upright like that in one of the dishes. Basically, that resembles how food is offered to one's dead ancestors. Just a cultural fyi~~
