  • So if More, knowing court procedure, tells a tale and inserts his accurate knowledge of court procedure, then ipso facto the tale - as rubbish as it looks (Brakenburg refusing first to murder the princes but then letting the murderer in - must be true. What a fool is this Dr. Starkey.

  • Starkey has me in stitches!!

  • I am smiling but I actually find dear this young witness Mr. Starkey rather offensive.

  • OMG....really young David Starkey! Almost didn't recognize him

  • Richards right hand servernt was james tyrrel , sir

  • Dr Stacey! Bet that put a dent in his massive ego.

  • wow-some things haven't changed allright-and one of them is Dr.Starkey's brashness.

  • Too true ;)

  • It was filmed on Tuesday, 21st February, 1984 at a reconstructed set of The Old Bailey Court Number Four in London Weekend Television's Studio number 1.

The Introduction by Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester was filmed several days earlier, at the Tower of London.

  • Starkey when young! Must be before '80 shirely?? Anybody know when it was made?

His problem is that he is very bright, knowledgeable and articulate. Never catch on. He is persona non grata on the BBC.

  • actually, no..

his real problem is that God left out "tact" from the list of qualities Dr.Starkey has-as a result, he can come across as incredibly rude and arrogant.

  • An understatement, Doctor Plausible.

  • What a sharp tongue this guy has.
