I think Apple cleaned up their macbook line to make way for there entry level Macs. An example of this would be for Apple to do three Macbooks such as an 11in., 12in., and 13in. models with decent performance. I think this would kill the market if the prizes are like $499 for 11in., $599 for 12in., and $699 13in. (for the 13in. same specs or maybe a little lower than the white plastic Macbook (I also think they will discontinue that white Macebook and make all aluminum unibody macbooks).

Windows 7 actually does give back storage. I'm not being a fanboy. I'm just letting you know. I got a good few gigs back on the RC. Around 10 I think. I also hear the RC gives more back than the beta so maybe the final version of 7 will give even more back (or take it away).

I feel that apple could done much better, they really need match level of PCs. Some comptuers can play blue-ray dvds and run more software. One thing you missed.... there is no longer a 13" aluminum MacBook. It is now an upgraded 13" Macbook Pro with a lower price tag. The only MacBook now is the white plastic one which has also been upgraded.

Actually Snow Leopard will cost $129. The $29 upgrade is only for Leopard users. Which is not really that special a deal considering it will offer few if any new features. Only performance improvments. It really should be a free 10.5.8 download for Leopard. I don't think it will be the best selling OS X release.
