This performance was at Texax Tech. Lady Raiders game... this is the same performance (I think) that was shot from a front side and had like 5 million hits the first month it was up... the girls are appearing all over the country now, they will go far, just beginning I believe.
I think it's quite stupid that Eurotrash gets offended whenever they hear our national anthem, but for some reason they're allowed to love their own national anthems.

When they sing "oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave" you can see the blonde with the red shirt behind them going, "woho". And that's exactly how you feel watching this. Incredible and is a once in a lifetime performance of the anthem (excluding the Dixie Chicks who had the best version).
Cami does such an awesome job with these girls. I literally had to grab a tissue. As a Veteran I truly appreciate this song no matter how it is presented, but this gave me chills. Good Job Andi! Great Job Cami.

I saw that version myself; HLN was singing it at a pro basketball game years ago. Four-part harmony and kind of jazzy sounding. It was a great version too. Wish I could hear it again.

It actually is the tempo the anthem is SUPPOSED to be, also there from TEXAS which means they have ACCENTS! I'm guessing your from Minnesota? Well I am too, and that means we also have accents, so they could say the same about us, but they DON'T because they realize we can't help it any more than they can.

I host a morning radio talk show in Brownwood Texas. One of our listeners sent this to me and we played it on our show this morning. You should have seen the phones light up. Our audience LOVED it! Chills and tears were the common themes. We had so many requests to play it again that we ended our show with it. We would love to have the girls and their mentors on our show.

This is as good as it gets. To do this kind of harmony during an acapella performance is rare in its own right. To do it on a song as difficult as the National Anthem, well, there just aren't words to describe it. These little girls should do a professional recording of this and have it entered into the Library of Congress. Performances like this are an American Treasure.

get over yourself. nobody said they were supposed to be pros. it's good they have something to be into. did you notice there were no monitors? i promise you the house p.a. system wasn't doing them any favors. i've played in club bands for 30 years (successfully) and i promise you 5 part harmonies in those conditions are pretty tough. and in case you haven't noticed, the "big time" is full of no-talent acts. just listen to the radio, if you can stand it. all you need is a nitch in america.

It's a rarity to find accapella(sp?) singers that can belt it out that clearly and in great harmonius exchanges with a quintet of 8-13 year olds.
For their age, their mechanics are flat out flawless.
I've even had vocal teaching for over half my life and I couldn't ever pull something like that off, never.

There are two videos posted of the same performance. If you search Cactus Cuties on youtube, you will see them. One if from behind and the other is in front. NICAR, that is why! But they sang it again Saturday and nailed it, probably better that this one!

Ok here's the really sick part- in both these performances posted,they completely nail it-no difference at all between the 2.People just don't sing like this any more-this is really something to behold.Where is the REAL talent these days?It sure isn't some drunk diva or full of himself useless rapper- it's right here in this clip.

This is as good as it gets. To do this kind of harmony during an acapella performance is rare in its own right. To do it on a song as difficult as the National Anthem, well, there just aren't words to describe it. These little girls should do a professional recording of this and have it entered into the Library of Congress. Performances like this are an American Treasure.
