saints defense hasn't given up more than 17 points in the last 5 games... and in those 5 games they played 3 teams with top 10 offenses... good luck with that prediction.. saints average 42+ points per game in the dome, and less than 17 points against ... yes maybe the lions win but they wont score 42...
@ipkurazz Actually, no. I am a Falcons fan (Picked the Giants this week, by the way). I try to see outside of my own interests and take a look from all angles, and I see Suh making a difference. Saints allow 259 yards in the air on average. They allowed 408 to Stafford last time. Only 2 other teams allow more passing yards (how ironic for them to be in the playoffs too). Stafford can convert those yards into TDs, I assure you. It has to be via Burleson and Scheffler though.
@ipkurazz You see, that's why you need to see the other side of things just in case it happens. The Saints are going to have their hands full. You cannot shut down Calvin Johnson, but you can do your best to contain him or pressure Stafford (and I think the Lions will be more successful on Brees). I always come back. I've been doing many of these videos, right or wrong. This is just my video prediction based on what I see, but stay tuned for next weeks Divisional predictions.
@ipkurazz And as for Suh, he is a part of a Lions defensive line that can execute a game plan similar to the Rams in Week 8. They can apply the pressure and give Drew a bad outing. I remember Atlanta doing it last year, but unlike the Falcons, the Lions offense seems more capable of winning a shootout with the assistance of their own defense.
@halftimesportscards im a saints fan, but i look at the stats not what i want to see, and the saints defense is better than people credit for, when ur beating a team by 21+ points they will throw the ball, were ranked 10th in running defense even though overall the saints can't stop the run. we are only ranked this high in passing yards because teams have to throw to catch up, suh meet our offensive line, 3 of them are pro bowlers and give up 1 sack every 27 drop backs
@halftimesportscards and as for how the saints will win this game is through chris ivory and thomas.. both great running backs ivory is really underrated i bet the saints rush for over 150+ yards on the lions with all there running backs, brees will be picked off 2 times, but they will still come out on top, this will defensive battle that you think
@ipkurazz And besides, I would have picked the Saints over my Falcons anyways. Atlanta has no defensive answer for Brees and not enough fire power to keep up. But this match-up with the Lions creates a little more questions. The battle up front is going to be the key, and I can see Stafford nearing 400 yards again. If the penalties are kept down, this is a serious team to contend with.
