Whenever I listen to this I feel like it's from multiple views of the "pack". The main narrator is most sympathetic, but toward the end there are two other views coming out: One that threatens that the subject will be cast out and have to be on his own if he doesn't correct his behavior ("we'll move along, well fed puppy..."). And the other that knows he's won't just be cast out because he won't make it alone.. and seems a lot less optimistic about the situation.

Though I find them different, just while the inspiration is there... In the end the songs are a bit different according to how the band plays their music.

I just want to add, that even tho they were influenced by Nightwish..ehhh...I'd have to give it to Sonata...I just feel more emotion and intensity from them than I do with Nightwish. Just my opinion.

that's because tony writes his material and he sings them... so the projection of emotions in his voice comes out naturally. on the other hand, toumas writes and tarja (before) and anette sings it... so there's not a whole lot of close interpretation in the singing . =D (IMO. IMO !!!) lol just making sure people will know it's IMO - incase they plan for a strategical attack.! =P

I love SA, but I must disagree...Tony is not the best vocalist ever, although he's a great singer; and his lyric are just like singing poems, in my opinion best vocalist is Tobias Sammet but don't worry man, this kind of people don't study music or don't even have knowledge enough to comment about this.

Actually, for me, best vocalists ever are male opera singers. As someone who HAS studied music, opera singers have the best vocal range.

Between Tony and Tobias.... Well, they both sing very well live, and have excellent vocal control, but I would go for Tony because his voice is really pleasant to me, and has a bit more depth.

When I heard this song I didn't like Sonata Arctica because I had heard one of their albums before and was unimpressed. But after hearing this, the first thing I thought was "OH MY GAWD! AWESOMENESS!" I like Sonata Arctica now and I think the whole Unia album is pretty good. ^_^

I agree dude...I think that the songs of the old albums had catchy melodies...and they were easier to asimilate...this is kinda progressive and focused more on rythm....this album does not have catchy songs such as San Sebastian, Black Sheep or The Cage...at the beginig I didn't find the shape of the songs.,..and some songs are still weird and bizzard for me...howver after listening many times...you get it..but well...it's totally different. The old S.A was better i agree...
