Did you get this from the Gaaming bundles tab in OCUK cuz I want to get one totally prebuilt, are the ones in the gaming systems pre-built? If not any good site suggestions for pre built gaming pc's at affordable prices?
I hate the asus easy connect. it always falls out when i tinker with the inside. I decided to remove it and just plug the cables directly, and it never fell out since.
@deepakm yh i know mate, i stopped using it a week after this too, easy to just refer to the manual for a connecting guide and have solid connections!
Recently tidied up the cables in mine and ended up going through about 50-60 cable ties. It was like a mental spaghetti junction mounted in a box on my desk.
OMG, All of it is JUSt like mine comp, except im using another CPU cooler, but still as big... And I dont got "Deluxe" edition of motherboard... And :D.. My graphiccard is overclocked edition..
Thanks for showing your build. I'm thinking about a Noctua NH-U12P atm and wanted to see how they fit. seems straight forward. Do you have to take the back plate off?. I have an AM2 board.
Thanks for showing your build. I'm thinking about a Noctua NH-U12P atm and wanted to see how they fit. seems straight forward. Do you have to take the back plate off?. I have an AM2 board.
nice video, parts are still great imo, i'm thinking about getting a NH-U12P SE2, special edition for my next build, and this video was perfect, I just wanted to make sure there was clearance on the ram, and that it installed blowing air towards the back of the case and not the top. :) thanks man. also the antec three is a decent case, it's the one i'm using now, check out my vids, on my pc builds, it has changed quite a bit over the last couple of months.
OK everyone who uses thermal paste like that STOP please just one small dab center of the cpu and thats it dont draw a line dont draw a smiley face dont spread it with a credit card. P.S. you dont have to be nervous to have shaky hands most are born that way free hand shakes thats why they never become doctors.
I do pay attention to cable management in my builds, but I do not put extreme emphasis on it. It does tidy up the case and improve airflow but there is no real need to spend hours and hours on it-plus, it's a pain in the a** unless you have a modular PSU. Excellent build!
cable management could have been a little better like tying all the cables to the hdd cage on the right panel or even drilling some little wholes, but nice build turned out good
would it make sense if someone bought a amd edition case and put a core i5 or core i7 board in a amd edtion case with 2 radeon cards in crossfireX only?
well i suppose it would kind of make sense seeing as ati is a subdivision of amd, but i think you'd get quite a bit of stick for it, especially from amd fanboys!
lol your hand was shaking while putting the cpu in but i guess i would to, placing the heatsink was funny too because it looked like you had 3 hands...
Yeah. I bought my AMD CPU about 3-4 months ago. I just opened the instructions about a hour ago and I found it. I got so happy. I thought that they forgot to package it with the cpu.
May I ask what is that you installed at 2:00 ? I'm new to PC building and I'm just about ready to start ordering my parts and most of them are similar to yours. i.e. AMD Phenom, ATI Radeon HD 4830, and an ASRock 770 ATX AMD Motherboard. Any advice?
Don't worry about it ;) Basically, the heatsink conducts heat away from the CPU, then the CPU fan is put on the side or top of the heatsink to distribute the heat away from the heatsink. So basically, they can't work without each other :)

6 hours?! oO
I'm a lazy, but:
2h for learning IT forums (about cpu, mb and others)
1h for searching optimal price.
and 30-60 minutes for assembly all this.
But SIX(!) HOURs for ONLY ASSEMBLY?! Unbelievable!
P.S. I know, my English is sucks...
