  • what a waste !

there is no free fuel, and when and if you get any, don't waste it at a 90 some percent infficient engine.

  • You could match this to "It was acceptable in the 80's" music video.

  • @Ebbonified except its tempo and those cheesy "wuhs" put it firmly in the 90s

  • AND ITS CARBON NUETAL!

  • What does the 2000 HR service mean?

  • @AlienAviator

Ironically I found myself tapping my foot to it.

On a serious note, do you have to dry out the fuel to a certain moisture content or can one simply pile it in?

  • Please, please, please lose that music.

  • why this shittttttty music is in this video,

  • What do you mean by "carbon neutral". It seems that it still burns wood.

  • @EngineeringFun 'Carbon Neutral' means that it releases no more Carbon Dioxide when it is combusted than it stored. A tree when burnt will not release any more co2 into atmosphere than it managed to store in its lifetime meaning it is carbon neautral.

  • I wouldn't call it "free" fuel. The cost of the fuel is the energy required to collect & prepare it.

  • I bought that same calculator in 1988

  • 1:19 LoL free fuel or fuel free :DDD? :D

  • Now a REAL alternative green energy machine would be a device that makes use of ALL of the HOT air that comes out of Washington!

  • i hear there is a stirling hot air engine powering the palace of westminster but only reaches 95% at PMQ's

  • Why do you call that contraption a Stirling?

    Crappy music.

  • is the guy dancing at music ?

  • shove the music up your ass bumboy.

  • Stupid music

  • Please don't waste my speakers with a rotten choice of music.

  • Hello

i have ever sell a micro-CHP Stirling (whispergen) and i would like to have the same mature bulbs bright as yours: Have you bought or made yourself?

Where can I find this tray of bulbs please

    Thanks

    Best regards

  • those guys aren't wearing anything under those labcoats..i bet there is plenty of eco-friendly lubricrants in their workshop

  • @ericsbraun I heard you weren't wearing anything underneath your clothing either...

  • @ericsbraun

    Rule 34

  • @ericsbraun ST5 used dry bearings, no lubricants.

  • How about providing heat by burning HHO from electrolysis powered by batteries charged by solar cells? 5hp can run a good sized generator.

  • @ChiefJusticeBadger What would be the point of that? Using solar cells 16% efficiency then charging a battery 95% efficiency then making hydrogen 40% efficiency and then buring it 30% efficiency to run a stirling engine 30% efficiency is a big waste. In that case you would rather use solar pannels to feed electricity into the grid. With this engine, the good thing to do would be to hook it up to a very large solar concentrator 95% efficiency and run the stirling engine 30% efficiency.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg Why not skip the making hydrogen and burning it and use an electric motor 75-85% efficency. Almost all the corporate hydrogen proponents want to make the hydrogen from carbon based resources.

  • @txghia58 What's the point?! Turning an alternator with an electric motor is really stupid.

What chiefjusticebadger said shows that he knows absolutely nothing on the conversion of energy from one form to another. Every time energy is converted, some is lost as heat and cannot be practically recovered. The less conversions take place, the better.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg Making that statement is really stupid....

  • @77camosoul Which part? The "some energy is always lost when converted" part? When will it be hammered into your thick little skulls that energy is lost every time it is converted from one form to another?! Energy can be converted between forms, but it is never created nor destroyed.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg Careful, your derpsumptions are showing...

  • @77camosoul Your stupidity is amusing and your ignorance is momentous.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg Are you 8? Whatever.

  • @ChiefJusticeBadger if this is your idea of independent free energy your retarded

  • So how does stirling technologies relate to sunpower. I figure theres no coincidence that both companies are based in Athens Ohio....

Hello from a former Athenian :)

  • Hi...do you have timing and/or stroke issues when increasing the pressure and temp?

  • My giddy aunt - the "music" is enough to send me fleeing from this site.

  • Great! I'm making a little one.

  • I think it's between 70 and 140 PSI

  • @ozykiss Much more than that. Helium at over 1000 psi is used, and during operation it can exceed 4000 psi.

  • pressures?I assume it operates at more than one atmosphere for efficiency.

  • 1:07..lol that man is similar to our Physicist professor haha :D
