@supermariogalaxy01 Now that's where you are wrong. The best way to guard your memory is by song. She must have listened to the Periodic Table song -which is seriously awesome it's by Peter Weatherall!!- So it's not cruelty. Plus this could really help her in the future you never know! :)
I enjoyed it because even I didn't know the periodic table by heart until i heard the song.
@SilverSugarwings - You are 100% correct. You will remember songs you learned as a child for the rest of your life. Why not learn something worthwhile that will help you in the future. One of our goals is to grow smart kids that love to learn, hopefully giving them a leg up while trynig have some fun doing it. She loved it.
awwww! sooo adorible!! i believe that you WERE NOT holding signs! my brother can only count to 10 maybe...? and hes 3 and yet he can go to the internet and flip through photos on an ipad! (-8
i'm in 9th grade, but i'm here to tell you, that in chemistry, you are given the pieriodic table of elements on tests! no need to memorize! just thought i'd put ur brains at ease. lol
@WendySunVal My teacher lets us use ours, but I hear he;s liek the only one who dioes xD Watson and... Priesly I think is his name doesnlt let my friends use theirs xD
you bloody brbing her you horrible parent!! she shouldnt be learning that at the age of three since im 13 and iv just been introduced to it! sad sad man
how so? having a child learn basics to things we will have to learn in school later on even if its 10+ years from now can impact how a child learns in the future, plus shes learning it in a way that she loves.. singing. So its not cruelty if they enjoy doing it.
That's awesome! I used to be annoyed as heck with this song, but now I love it! XD My science teacher played the song in class during our chemistry unit.
Now, that would really be amazing... a 3 year old reading the periodic table. No, she wasn't quite there at that point yet, but we are working on it :-) I promise, she was just singing... Children have the ability to learn so much more than they are typically given credit for. Thanks for your comment.
No tricks I promise. Kids can learn much more than we give 'em credit for. She really loves maps too. She and her sisters love this and other song like geography songs. And, we love seeing them learn.
im in year seven [england] and im top of my science group..which is the top one.. o.O anyway the point is my mates cant remember the first 20 of the peirodic table and i showed them this sayinf if a little girl could memorese mnore than 5 then they should be able to memorise wayy more! well done
It's great to see the positive responses. It's also amazing to see that people from around the world enjoy seeing my girls. We are home schooling our children and my wife puts in a lot of hours trying to make sure they have the best education possible. It is a lot of work.
