Regarding the staff, I believe it may be similar to the ones used by the Emperor's Royal Guard.

@JDS777 I'm not sure if it's a force-pike. I know the Imperial / Crimson Guard were force-users to some small degree. I wonder if it is more like those silly electric staffs the Magnaguard droids used during the Clone Wars?
