Good thing our political system has built-in checks that favor survival of the least stupid of politicians. This woman is on the wrong side of evolution....she's simply STUPID.
Sorry, we can't let you sacrifice your laying hens, the eggs are needed to make more vaccines with cancerous green monkey kidneys, aluminum for Alzheimers, mercury to shut your kids up and trigger immune defiiciency, polysorbate 80 to trigger the green monkey primer. And give thanks for the Health Care Bill, my children, because after the statins wipe out your brain before you can figure this out, we'll give you free AZT for your AIDS and you'll be dead before you know it. God Bless America.
I can't beleive republicans are feilding these space cadets as serious candidates and that she is leading in the polls. She will fit right in with Sarha Palin, Michelle Bachman and Man Coulter.
@SteelMartini Hey Steel....she can't really put thoughts together to well can she. Read my post to Reggie. Some of what she is trying to describe really works and you can save a TON of money. Wonder who is next up from the Repub. side...Barney Fife.
@Toddinfantry I heard Reid was getting his but kicked but never imagined by a air head. This women owns four casinos, a executive, wealthy and anti union. I guess money can't buy you everything. (brain) Scott Brown is proving to be a little off too. They keep this up and the Republic will collapse on it's own.
This chick so stupid she said we can barter goods to pay for healthcare. She actually said bring chickens to your doctor to pay for healthcare. This is a woman running for senate! What are you people drinking in nevada, i suggest you stay away from casinos. Maybe i can pay my dentist with milk and a box of cherrios.
@REGGIE45205 She can't sell her idea very well with such bad examples. One thing that she is saying is you can negotiate with your doctor/dentist etc for cash payments to them for lower rates. I installed a surround sound system in my dentists home and received free check ups and cleanings for a year. I pay cash to my providers and save a TON. Only ins. is catastrophic for the surprise biggie. Example: broken arm=all negotiated costs out of pocket= $273.47. No paperwork etc, no ins. premium
@Toddinfantry What about ppl who don't have cash like that on hand. What if i go into surgery and my doctor bills exceed 100,000, and i manage to do talk him down using your theory 2 say 70,000 who the hell got 70,000 g's to pay to a doctor directly. Secondly its going to take alot more than than instaling a stereo system to pay for it. Under Sue's way of thinking imagine $70,000 worth of chickens, you know i can get a whole fried chicken for 6 bucks. Stupidest idea ever
@REGGIE45205 That is why I said I carry catastrophic ins. $100,000 surgery is covered, I would pay about $7500.
I can save this money in an account because I do not pay the HUGE premiums the ins comp want. Standard doctor visits, broken bones, small things you pay for. You must be disciplined enough to take some of what you save by not paying a premium, to bank away part. Sue is just to airheaded to be able to convey a point. Hey doc!..her's 100 eggs, wait a few months for my payment lol
LOL, what an idiot. I don't have an option so I'm going to resort to circular argumentation. "We are going to get costs down by making health care cheaper" HAHAHAHA. The question hunny, is how...HOW... do we make it affordable. Now when we finally got an answer it was, Government needs to get out of the way so that the insurance companies can be regulated by "the people". That is a sneaky way of saying we shouldn't change a thing. These ain't the bush years dear, the uppance has come.
How about not limiting the number of people who can become doctors. People are going to foreign countries to get into med school so they can be doctors here. Then limit lawsuit payouts so malpractice insurance won't be so high. No wait...Let's just let the Gov't take over healthcare and make it as efficient and compassionate as the IRS. Oh and by the way, Isn't it time for Congress to vote themselves another pay raise? Stop spending our money!
If everyone who has a "preexisting condition" as Sue Lowden says is to be allowed health care, then people are just going to wait to buy health insurance until they have a condition. Once they have a condition and they need insurance, the condition is preexisting, and they can't be denied coverage. So people will buy insurance for the same price for their "preexisting condition" and pay for it as long as they need it and then get rid of it again. Its a surefire way to bankrupt the companies.
Haha wow this guy interviewing her is obviously reeeally liberal, which is fine and it's fine to disagree with her... but he's being downright disrespectful.
Haha wow this guy interviewing her is obviously reeeally liberal, which is fine and it's fine to disagree with her... but he's being downright disrespectful.
@petrosbasileus It reminds me of a poll that a "Pro Life" group did a few years ago. They called 100 people from the Salt Lake County Democratic Party Central Committee and asked if they were in favor or opposed to having the head cut off of 3 month old babies, if the mother no longer wanted her baby. I do not need to tell you what the results were or that most of the members of the SLCCC are strongly prochoice, but it shows how some polles lie.
By the way, being a GOP chairwoman is not relevant experience. It's a practice in the dissemination of lies. And an ANCHORWOMAN? A pageant contestant? WTF? Really?
Well it looks like you are unwilling or unable to have an intellegent discussion about Sue. Seeing as how you ignore the fact that she was a State Senator and is more qualified for the Senate than any person who Massachusetts has sent to the Senate in over 20 years.
One cannot have an intelligent discussion about an unintelligent subject. That is my point. And you have yet to refute it or dissuade me in any way from thinking, based on this video and her own words on her website and elsewhere, that she is completely clueless. She's just Republican X. There's nothing compelling about her beyond her looks. Everything she says is boilerplate, everything a talking point.
I concede she was a state senator--for 4 years!!! And then she lost re-election. She was so horrible and out of touch that SHE LOST REELECTION! And then what? Well, the hubby threw his weight around to get her a ceremonial position she could brag about--GOP chairwoman. CHAIRWOMAN! So authoritative-sounding, isn't it? Pathetic.
Tell me one revolutionary thing she has said, anything that marks a break from the conventional (un)wisdom of the modern Republican party. She's just a fascist in pink.
She doesn't understand the difference between the public option and single-payer--and makes the comparison even though she doesn't know the difference. It's a non-starter and a non sequitur, and she lets it rip with ease.
She's just clueless. What's her experience? Being in a beauty pageant and having a summer job while her friends played on the beach in New Jersey? Wtf? Pathetic.
@petrosbasileus Your stats are WRONG 63% of American are agaist the public option. Also she has twice the experiance President Obama did when he ran for President.
Doing what? What's her experience? A summer job? A Casino executive ripping people off? A beauty pageant!? Yes, if that counts as experience, she has tons!
The Washington Post published an article that says support is at 57%. Research 2000 pegs it in the 70s... bit. ly / 5MqhNz

@petrosbasileus Did you even listen to the interview??? I think you need to listen to 0:09 - 0:14. I looked at the interanls of the poll you quoted and in order to get the numbers they clame they have to poll one Republican for every two Democrats. In other words I do not trust the poll at all.
The "internals"? That's absurd. That isn't even provided in the link I gave you. You with your anecdotal and completely unreliable "evidence"--you remind me of all of those angry white people who during the 2008 campaign persisted in their claim that "no-one they knew was voting for Obama" and that those polls showing him with a commanding lead must surely have been wrong. But then again, maybe the fact that they were angry white people had something to do with that... Haha. You're funny.
The Republicans didn't even have health care reform on the radar until Obama campaigned on it as one of his policies- For two- Obama WON in case you missed the memo- if she was so much more qualified than Obama why didn't she put her name on the ballot with McCain instead of Palin? hmmmm?
I've known this broad since high school. She's rich and doesn't give a shit about anybody. And she LIES. We've made enough mistakes by voting for ass holes in the past. Let's not do it again. Sue go back to your mansion in Hawaii and shut up.
yall forgot to mention how beautifl she is. bytheway u mentioned where her political leanings r - basically her big thing is taxes - she HATES taxes, she's exactly what this country needs right now. damn, she's a knockout. she also ate that guy 4 breakfast. her voice is sexy too.
I don't know anything about any of her other views, but she seems to be very smart and thoughtful, which is a plus over any vicious liberal attack dog. He just makes himself look stupid by making wild accusations and generalizations that don't apply to the current conversation. Once again, I don't where her political leanings lie, she may be just as liberal, but at least she is civil, even after the foaming-at-the-mouth nonsense of this guy.
