@MrBlaque907559 Daily sodium should not typically go above 3 grams a day. But I tell people to focus on weight loss first then worry about lowering their sodium.
I've just spent an hour sitting here listening to this guy. I'm a big fan. And again, you look so like Taub from House M.D. Oh, and I have P90X. Yes I know. You hate me.
Good . But I lost over 30 lb in one month using weight loss plan from LSWEIGHT(.)INFO
no kieres ke se te fijen en la barriga-cervecera ke tienes? nada mas facil, ponte dos buenas tetas (por ke eso ke tienes si ke es un problema) king-size y veras o nadie se fija en el blandiblu ke llevas por cinturon
If it's for a specifc exercise where explosive movement is needed that's fine. But this would be in addition to weight training and cardio. Plus, plyometrics are not really needed for the average person.
If you eat high protein food when your muscles are really sore will more protein go to muscle growth, or does the body use more protein while you exercise?
Your body uses the protein it needs and saves the rest as fat or discards it as urea. No additional protein goes to your muscles when sore nor will excess protein speed recovery.
First of all, having at least a gram of protein per pound of body weight will probably put you in the clear as far as a "minimum guideline" is concerned. However, if you want to limit the amount of protein your body uses as fuel, you have to keep out of ketosis, and that means eating enough carbs throughout the day.
I just got stronger and stronger, my bicepts were the biggest in my life after 3 weeks full time. I know body builders are like slow down dont injure yourself let your muscles rest and everything. Why is it that if you work your muscles overtime they grow so much faster then?
Hey Steve, I got my P90x chin up bar a couple of days ago. Now heres the thing.. ok I cant do a chin up yet, but I want to. So Ive been using a chair to do them, my arms are so sore I can bearly stretch them out. So I did some more this morning after work. The reason being I used to work in brick laying for about a month and I was in such pain after the first day I did think I could lift anything, some bricklayer gave me crap and I just gave her the pain went away after a couple of hours and...
Chin-ups are very hard because you can't vary your weight. Your idea with the chair is good. Chin ups use biceps, back, and shoulders so as these muscles get stronger so will your abilty to do a chin up. Try varing your grip. Use an overhand wider than shoulder grip and then try an underhand narrower than shoulder grip.
Weird i was just going to message you a question about this. But do sugar free drinks fall into this category? I absolutely LOVE sugar free Fresa grapefruit would you still recommend it? I basically drink water and sugar free fresa only.
Good point, Steve. A really big trap is with "non-fat" cooking sprays. They say they have no fat, but the serving size is literally labeled as "1/5th of a second of a spray", which is barely enough to coat any pan you're trying to cook with.
Or if you look at those Lean Cuisine frozen dinners, they're fairly low in calories and fat, but the portion sizes are really tiny, usually no more than six ounces of food. If you ate clean, whole foods, you could eat well over a pound for the same calories
Steve! You always go on about how its only calories that are important! Now suddenly we have to watch how much fat we eat? I'm sure it doesen't matter as long as we create a calorie deficit right?
The calorie deficit that he use to go on about was for people to start shedding fat, but now he is on about making sure you read the labels because it will get you closer to your goal.
Carbohydrates break down into sugars, guy. They may be talking sugar free as in there is none of that sweet table sugar or cane sugar or whatnot in it. But those sugars are carbohydrates as well. GG.
I'm blown away by the amount of sodium in products. For the past year or so I only buy fresh goods from the perimeter of the store, but when i do venture to a middle aisle, i look at the back of a frozen dinner of some sort, and can't believe how much sodium must be in a typical north american diet.
I bought a chicken pot pie yesterday w/o looking at the nutritional facts and and i was gonna cook it, guess what?...350 calories per service and 1050 whopping grams of sodium!!!!!
steve thanks for all your vids im so fortunate to have found them your videos are the truth and have knocked the nonsense out of my brain and put some real knowlege in its place thanks :)
of course...all they want is money...couldnt give a damn about your health. and when you get sick from their maladjusted food, they can charge you an arm and a leg to put you on 1,000 types of pills. almost makes you want to grow your own food. at least then you know 100% what's in it LOL.
Hey Steve, it looks like you are not going to make a new video. Please, tell us something about honey !
Thanks in advance !
Best Regards !

Trans fat is not required on the label if the item contains <0.5 grams....your treat could have 0.4 grams of trans fat, and you wouldn't know it...

Question: What about the sodium in no calories drinks.. Is that something we should be aware of?

Low fat diets aren't recommended by most registered dietitians and fitness professionals. Low calories are the way to go.

We receive enough healthy fats normally in the foods we eat that we don't need to supplement with them.

Talk about the healthy fats. Because we cant go with the style "no fat at all!"

Right. I just want people to begin to be aware of some of the ingrediants in the foods they eat. But any kind of deficit will cause weight loss.
BodyPerformanceTV 3 years ago
Great insight Steve on the so called"fat free" labels. It legal for manufacturer to do that. Still, I think its deceptive marketing and bad business.
