hi this is probably such a stupid question but in the campaign when i take over a city they always riot then rebel , the populace is never happy and i exempt tax from the region and everything but that does nothing , oh and i keep getting sent letters of demand , can anyone help? :S thanks.

@SuperMMAmonster Exempt from tax, if there's religious unrest send missionaries to convert the population to your religion, repair any buildings in the city you destroyed (and also outer ones like farms and such). If there's still a problem you'll need to have more troops in the city to increase garrison bonus.

actully british soldiers in the american vs england , when the english men charge they shot the first shots of the group...then they reload and charge, when they are fighting they like "cheating" because they shot when they was fighting whit bayonets.

i own a kukri myself and i love. i am a sculter and i actually use the kukri a ton. i do alot of carving and sculpting. such an amazing tool. very very popular with the special forces all over the world

well the general public calls it the worst thing ever to happen to total war, but i bought it along with napoleon! i havent played ntw yet but empire is so much! there is so much to keep check on and think about that it blows my brains apart after an hour or so(i am most definatley a strategy gamer btw). also the battles are really cool but the AI is too easy and i can never find a game online :(

@clp920 : yes, you can deploy canister shots behind your troops, and yes your troops will be the first on the firing lane, that's with all types of ammunition, try deploy your cannons forward with a cheap infantry unit to protect them, or deploy and keep them on the same line as your first wave of troops, hope i cold be of help ;)

gurkhas are from nepal and they are amazing soldiers there motto is "better to die than be a coward" and only men from nepal can be a gurkah in the british army except officers the blade they carry is mad it looks nothing like the ones they have here it is very short and curves sharply away from the hand

Napeoleon is just an Expansion to Empire, it's the same weapons, same fighting styles. Only difrence is some of the graphics but it's not nat much. If you got Empire and your not "that" extreamly intrested in the napoeleon wars it's just not wort it. They games are too simular.
