  • They fixed the oil starvation issue in the second gen sv. Wheelie away.

  • Rofl you have to wind out the RPMs in 4th gear to hit 100? My CBR1000 does 90 in first, and 100+ in second gear.

  • @cbrandom lol at comparing CBR1000RR to an SV. totally different bike, dude.

  • ?@cbrandom congrats its a 1000.... want a cookie?

  • @cbrandom , you bike does 90 KM/H in 1st. Not MPH. Idiot...

  • @cbrandom you do understand that its a Vtwin not a Inline for right? Fucken retarted people theses days... i swear. somethen special...

  • @cbrandom And yet you probably have no idea how to ride a motorcycle outside of a straight line. Good thing you have that 1000cc bike to make yourself feel good about that tiny penis of yours. Freakin squids man.

  • umm, why does the exhaust sound so horrible. or is that just the camera?

  • k these bikes get to 100 pretty quick, but after that its beat. But how often are you even able to go past 100mph? Wheelies are for people who cant ride a bike how it should be ridden.

  • @earic23 So if an good rider that's been riding for years goes to the track and does a few wheelies he's not riding the bike properly? Wheelies are FUN if done in a safe area, you can ride a bike expertly in the curves and do wheelies. I know a lot of people who can do it.

  • was that all throttle? and do you have to shift your weight backwards?

  • Actually ive heard several people that actually own sv's say that sustained wheelies starve the engine for oil..the bike aint designed for stunting, sorry.

  • @ryrides Its like that on a lot of bikes, Gixxers & Kawaks... The trick is to either overfill the oil or buy a oil pickup

  • @ryrides first gen versions had this problem, they moved the location of the oil pump for the second gen

  • took him 10 sec to get to 100 from 15mph rolling start.

The specs online say that it does 0-100 in 8sec. Bit of a margin there eh?

  • @Bulgdoom he was shifting early and may not have been laying on the throttle

  • @Bulgdoom I have the SV, and she will do it in 8 :)

  • Watch out with wheely's on a sv... there is a pretty big change that the rear cilinder is going to break down due of low oil pressure when you wheely!

    cheers

  • that's true and...fuck me...i've just seen a flying pig. how long has that one been circulating

  • what's the oil pump for?

  • SV650SF, 2008, GPS verified 139mph, 2% uphill grade, full tuck, 75F day. It took a 2 mile run up. Wheelie AT 100mph? Fuck no. There isn't even enough power there to lift the nose more than an inch with all the down force of the nose fairing and the slightly higher rear gearing. Desnork'd/slipon are the only mods altering power. I get power wheelies in the first couple gears only.. Quick, yes, ballistic fast, no.

  • okay first of all. i have don't have a digital gauge and can do 140 on my first gen SV650s and second of all doing a wheelie on an SV at 100 is easy. i do it accidentally all the time. trick is is that you can hit 100 in fourth. its redlining but you can do it. pop the gear to fifth and make sure your sitting up and holding on. and if you want a pretty wheelie at 100 give a slight tug on the handlebars

  • look my video and study!! :P

  • I have an 08 SV650S, I've hit 149. I went down one tooth in the front and can only do 141 now. No way is there enough power to wheelie at 100 though!

  • You guys are math wizzes

  • The sv650 is not a hugely fast bike, but are a nice ride all the same. I have had many big bikes but love this like machine!

  • You can't wheelie a 650 at a 100.They max out at like 120..

  • 120? Not mine. I have a K5 with a few aftermarket mods done. I saw an indicated 143mph On I95 going to bike week. Actual Speed is I believe 12% less once you hit triple digits on digital bike speedo though. I will agree with you on not doing a wheelie at 100mph on a SV is probably rare, but with the right sprocket setup im sure it could be done.

  • I have the same bike as you except I have full fairings and a yoshi rs3 pipe but stock air filter and no power comander. And dont think I will waste my money now cause if you only do 143 plus being 12% off your have to be about mid 130's and mine will do about 125 - 128 now your saying with all that I'm lucky to get 10 mph extra. And the only way a sv650 will pull a wheelie at a 100 is with a bigger engine lol.

  • power commander evens out the torque curve alot better. When I go side by side with other sv's that dont have it i pull hard on them. And mid 130's is fine with me. if i wanted to die young i would have bought a busa haha. But you have a valid point i guess, whatever you choose to do good luck!

  • whoa whoa whoa, i've wheelied mine past 100, 5th gear. and yea they do max out at like 125.

  • Ive got my stock to 140

  • you did a wheelie at about 30mph,put the front end down and kept it down while u accelerated to 100. That is not a wheelie at 100mph! You think everyone is blind? Next time you want to LIE, pull your head out of your ASS

  • The title is SV650 wheelie 100 mph. There is no "During" or "at" so you're wrong. go fuck yourself

  • i concur

  • CMON YOU CAN DO BETTER. RIGHT?

  • how fast have u had it

  • this is mph dude ~~ fuck the law xD

  • Law what the fuck is that hmm imma have to look that word up law, you do know the signs on the road telling you the speed u should go are just guide lines right

  • what kind of pipe you got on your bike?

  • Dale Walker's Holeshot Highmount

  • Hey that better be kmh dude, or you broke DA LAW!
