My friend........you can switch to a 27 gauge needle after you extact the juice from the vile. Just unscrew the 22 g needle, and screw on a 27g to have less pain while injecting. Your pharmacy CAN order the smaller scew on needle for you. Just ask.

Don't use the same alcohol preparation pad to clean the vial and clean the skin.

Also, do not use the same needle you draw the preparation with to inject yourself. Draw with one, and swap for another needle, a smaller gauge like 23 or 25, on your syringe.

ALSO, do not EVER touch your injection site after you clean it before injecting.

That is all bad sanitary practice! If you get an infection, you will be sorry for not following sanitary guidelines.

And get that dog out of the way.
