How did you attach the air intake kit? Did you take out all the stock tubing after the MAF sensor and just put in the Secret Weapon intake instead? I'm trying to do that on my '04, but I need to know if I can just replace the stock tube with no problems ('cause there are two connectors on it near the throttle body and I don't know if the intake kit will work with those).

The 3400 is not 200hp stock, the 3800 is 205 and the 3400 is a step down. Your HP may now just be 200, but i doubt that. Maybe 180. Your intake is hot air which is dumb on such a lowly modified car, you need cold air. Don't be a ricer in an American car.

I'm not trying to knock the set up but i once owned a 3.4 impala and even after i installed the cold air intake, MSD wires, RSM UD pulley it was not pushing the speeds of the 3.8 which i traded it in for. short ram Intake = ~ 5hp depending on outside temps, if you didn't get a DP or delete the u bend then your exhaust might have helped for another 3-5hp
There is a lot you can do to the 3.4 to get its speed up... head over to naioa . com and there is a list of part and where to get them from
good mileage, weak sound system. Also impalas in those years are designed for double din head units. Not that ugly (panasonic) single din you have that is left with so much space.

0-60 in 7.5-8.0 stock for a family sedan isnt so bad, then again, its not so great. Youd be suprised what a tune/intake/exhaust does to this car, its heavily restricted to drive smoothly and sound quiet.

The 3400 is not 200hp stock, the 3800 is 205 and the 3400 is a step down. Your HP may now just be 200, but i doubt that. Maybe 180. Your intake is hot air which is dumb on such a lowly modified car, you need cold air. Don't be a ricer in an American car.

the subs were 150 each the box was 180 custom made
the headunit was 300 including the installation and the amp was 100 so everything was $730
