Do you have a close up video of how to count garter stitch rows? I'm brand new to knitting, and I know how to cast on, and do garter stitch for now, but I need a video to show me how to count garter stitch. All I've read is that you count the ridges. I thought I had it at first, but then got very confused. Can you please post a video of counting garter stitch? That would be great! Thanks!

what knitting method was this, right now I only know gater and purl stich.

@minnieclips This is called stockinette stitch, which is done by knitting and purling alternate rows. Garter is knitting all rows.
