Last summer, for example, I showed a bunch of kids at sailing lessons (during a very bad thunderstorm, mind you) episodes from Hey Arnold! (I've got the first 2 seasons on dvd) and they LOVED it! We need to keep on doing this! Show other shows like Animaniacs, Rugrats, Catdog, Rocko's Modern Life, & anything else that's not SHIT!

I agree but I think I am maybe 3 years or so older than you, never liked Hey Arnold or Catdog. Rocco rugrats and animaniacs were my time though. My favorites chronologically were Looney Tunes as a toddler, then GI Joe, then TMNT, then Xmen, then Ren and Stimpy, then Beavis and Butthead as a tween. That is a good guideline I think for how everyone should be raised. I dread to think what I would have ended up like had I started with Barney or the Wiggles.
