I always thought is was a song about the attempt to love a girl that lives life in the fast lane such as a movie star, porn star, stripper, Hollywood wannabe , or just a girl that needs to slow down. Like a guy trying to tell her that he just wants her for who she really is not what she is famous, or infamous for, and also whatever she is all glittered up for is insignificant and fleeting. Hence the lyric 'here come here go the Glitter girls I only want your love' One of the Crue's best.
