  • A year and a half ago I rescued Sable my female siberian husky, who was 4 at the time. When I went and picked her up you could tell she had had a very rough 4 years. She was filthy and emaciated and little to no social skills. When I first introduced myself to her she nipped at me but I stood my ground with her and quickly let her know who was boss, since that moment she has been my shadow and she is always at my side. I also have 3 other siberians, Glacier,Siberia and Alaska.

  • Hahaha, dogs don't drink water. They just spread it around.

  • aww its a husky get together =)

  • I am glad to see that there are wonderful people like you in this world, who would foster huskies and save them. Someday I love to do that too, but i need to get a house with a backyard first

  • Sweet :***

  • your dogs are beautiful, love huskies

  • I luv ur huskies theyre beautiful

  • Beautiful dogs, always nice to see animals so loved.

  • im really considering adopting a rescue dog at a shelter one day. Thanks for sharing!

  • I rescued a Siberian Husky found abandoned near a freeway offramp.

That was four hurricanes and five years ago.

Remember when you rescue a husky you save a life.

My husky brightens my day and when we go somewhere everyone mobs him.

Just a wonderful fun friendly breed to own.

Hope you get to know the joy of a husky.

  • oh may God !!

    A lot of huskies...

I only got one.. But my backyard isn't huge so i can't buy more dog again

  • I would want a husky soo bad. But I dont have the time and money for it.

  • Thank you, for being one of those amazing people who are a part of the solution! These dogs would of never had a chance without you and your wonderful husband! Thank you for your time, dedication, and most importantly your heart!!

  • Seriously, the dogs were fosters, which for the illiterate amongst my viewers means they were boarding only temporarily; they've all found good homes now. Further, my house is gorgeous. But thanks for the helpful tips.

  • Really sweet. Ignore the 'house' comments. From what you can see from your videos your old house and your new house are gourgeous. As are Polar and Tashi!

  • @Sapphir3blu3 What does boarding mean? Is that when they pull a snowboard like in video I seed on tv? They was pulling board full of bags and stuff, it was very cool. Dogs is nice. Thank you please.

  • seriously, if you are keeping all of those....you must spend over a hundred a week in food and your house must look like crap. no offense but that many dogs period, will damage any place.

  • they are so funny! we just saved a male husky from the pound about a month ago. and him and my female husky pup ( almost 5 months old) hit off! they are best buds and inseperable!I just wish people would look into Huskies before they get them so they don't wind up in the pound like our male did....he is such a good boy! and is so full of love...their loss my gain! I love my babies!

  • Gracious!!!!!! I had my hands full with just my one. Next time though--I want 2 together so they always have each other. It will take some time before I'm ready to open my heart again after losing Drago. YOur videos have been the BEST medicine for me. Thank you so much for posting them.

  • 2 is important, I think. We lost our Shadow when our Tashi was just 9 months old; at that age she REALLY needed a playmate so we adopted Polar very quickly. We'll always miss Shadow but now T&P are thick as thieves and I can't imagine them apart.

I will say that all 4 of the mixes in the video have since been adopted to wonderful homes, the last only 2 weeks ago. I was so so glad to have them, but I'm gladder to be back down to 2 right now!

Hope things are getting just a little easier for you.

  • Well, I adopted a 4m old sweet lil husky from Mush Rescue 5 days ago. We will get another next year, Miss Bella has us exhausted!! She is a good girl-just loves biting and is the opposite of house trained. No worries--Drago broke us in and she is JUST like him. I'm so glad we got a rescue, I'll never buy from a breeder again, so many cast aside pets out there, heartbreaking really.

  • wow!! we have one and some days im like AHHH.. and now we're getting another.. i think they're addicting!! lol.. good luck w/ all yours!!

  • Gorgeous. My husky plays just like that.

  • Beautiful! My my I just keep finding your vids up. Harnessed To Hope Northern Breed... I tried adopting from them once but my house isnt too lovely (we are moving into a bigger one in a year) and the fosters they brought over didn't get along with the dog here. I read about those pups on the site before though, and it made me so happy to find out that they, with mother, were saved.

  • What could be better than a Siberian Husky? More than one Siberian Husky!

  • oh my, you have a lot of huskies. i only have one but he is a handful at times.

  • We have 4 Sibes, including 2 rescues. I can TOTALLY understand taking more on, but also your comment "What have we done?" is the same we would have too! Lovely - thanks for posting!

  • Indeed. I'm pretty sure I'm crazy. But the rescue will adopt out the babies and their mama to good homes, so the insanity is only temporary. I just have to keep the house standing until then :D

  • Beautiful beautiful dogs :) you are lucky
