In general he was warning me against the Moors whose philosophy is to not pay taxes, use drivers license etc and how they approach dealing with the "Law". Is that true and if not, do you have any cases that I could look up where people have won against the government?

According to the Congressional Record, Congress was NOT IN SESSION on the date and at the time that Act was supposedly enacted !!!
It is a De Facto court. According to the de facto doctrine ( yeah, they made it up ), unless their authority is challenged IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, what they do is treated as legal.
