  • uaah creepy...!

  • Looks like the Chernobyl region

  • It's nice, I Was sure to eat non-foods chock full of chemicals while viewing. Now my tongue is as scared as my eyeballs. Thanks and Cheers!

  • As a musician myself and a lover of all things that are at once sad and beautiful, I cannot help appreciating this song. Fantastic job.

  • hitler camps love this flim please come with more

  • i love it. suberb. very encapsulating

  • Love Dark Ambient so much, this music and pictures is in perfect balance, when i close my eyes i drift away to the Dark side, the person that made this music know how to play with my mind when i close my eyes. If i could give 10 stars i would still give 11 stars. Ty so much for uploading Alacazam!

  • this is something amazing... its full of sorrow, sadness and so many bad things but still i love it.. i guess this song opens your soul, it digs into deepest corners of it and takes up so many thoughts and feelings. fantastic :)

  • Download link cause in so putting this on my psp!

  • wow, this is overhelming. Try Vallium Can- Novaya Zemlya- quite similiar stuff with dark atmosphere

  • I love this music right here. It fits a story I am writing about someone who lost a battle and the world has been taken over. No more sunshine, no more life she knew. Her two best friends died in the battle fourty years previously. This fits it to a T and her inner battle with her demons.

  • There's something I just love about this kind of music. The empty, melancholic feeling it leaves you with does not seem bad at all. Love it.

  • who is the first track from?? I can't fing any dark ambient under "memories of sunlight" on yt ....maybe one but it's not this

  • @OnnomonnomonnO This channel is all of Alacazam's dark ambient :P

  • I like to watch theese pictures and imagine what it was like to be a completely different person, who isn't alive anymore, and to be there when it was a live and breathing place with happy people in it. It feels so surreal.

  • must say man im a fan.

not going to lie, this type of music goes great with the herb. thanks for postin this up

  • sometimes u just need to drown in sorrow & pure misery to move onto something new

  • @simionTheOne - I loved that, thank you for making my day.

  • @simonTheOne - 1. Wow. I'm so very glad to finally hear somebody say that out loud. So many people don't agree with me when I tell them that, but they just fail to realize how beneficial experiencing something like that could be for them, you know?

  • @simionTheOne - 2. Most people, just really try to avoid their own darkness, at all costs, they just "Don't want to be sad" whatever that means, but to me it's just like, "Wow. Really? But...There's just as much Beauty and Inspiration and Wisdom in Sadness as there is in Happiness, it just hurts me to think of how much you're missing..."

  • @ThisTooShallPass314

exactly there's lot's of positivism to find in negatitvity

it gives u inspiration in desperate times where u can use it to say the least

and it can make u expirience things some 'happy' people 'll never know was possible

  • @simionTheOne That's very true.

  • @simionTheOne I agree, the only way to the light is to spend a time of your life in your own negativity and darkness to gather the power and will to enter the light. The light is a permanent and total state of oneness with the universe around you will have forever. When you've done your time in hell by overcoming whatever is the source of your darkness you will be reborn mentally in Spring when you can experience true mental freedom your own negativity even though you still might feel others

  • @squezey1 being projected into you but keep in mind that isn't your own, when your life is complete you will know it. As for me I believe I have one more Winter of misery before reaching the light, too much of a burden on my back right now but thing is I don't know what it is, it's like something sucking away my energy but I'll get rid of it with time whatever it is. That's the way it is for me.

  • @simionTheOne Day made. Thank you (:

  • @Soldier0123456

no problem, people, i'm glad we're in this together, somehow

dont give up guys, we're not missing out on things like this

  • this is a masterpiece, truly, fantastic video to accompany it too, thumbs up!

  • THE MUSIC EVOKES THE FEELING OF THE SUFFERING THAT WENT ON WITHIN THOSE WALLS,OVER THE YEARS.

  • life is fucked up

  • good music to help me relax at night to help me fall asleep

  • @Stgfre do you sleep in a coffin?

  • @cqbhoun Why would I sleep in a coffin? What does that have to do with listening to good music to help me fall asleep.

  • @Stgfre idk I was trying to be funny. I guess one day we'll all sleep in coffins though.

  • I love old abandoned places. They hold so many stories and have real character, I like to walk through them, imagining them in their heyday, especially old manors or warehouse factories, all the hustle and bustle that went on, how grand they were, and now they are at rest. I often go to the one near my village when I want to be alone. Just me and the ghosts :P

WWII places are my fav though

  • is this pripyat? good fitting music!!

  • Akhenaton - Infernus Ratatosk (Silencer Cover - Death Pierce Me)

  • I enjoyed this piece. The music fit well along with the images. Good sense of isolation and abandonment.

  • pads and more pads...

  • which instruments or software did you use?

  • nice, well done.

  • in my town we had many empty buildings like that i visit them all when i was younger...it was never a scary place, more a place of freedom...with this music itz the same its not scary or dark to me its like the time stands still and im the only porson in the world, like beeing dead but still allive...just amaizing great job

  • Interesting images - there is something about walking through abandoned rooms such as these. The walls have witnessed many things from the past.....

  • the place for the next silent hill movie

  • o.o I just noticed, when I click "replay" theres that fast sound in the beginning of the song like I just quickly rewound a tape to listen to it again. So awesome.

  • Is there anywhere where I may find these pieces you do for download, Ala?

  • This just makes me want to curl up and fade into myself.

  • fantastic :) whats the author?

  • love it i cant rember sunlight easier, and i haven't romanticized a thing, do i wish to? not my choice, im better off torn into another dimension thanks for the post.

  • check out my new made ambient song, necrofellatio! It's under my channel

  • @alacazam its vid to mp3.com

  • This Ambient music seems more alien and other-worldly than dark and spooky. It's still great, though.

  • perfect photography you should get some people togather and make a photo shoot out of it your pictures would turn out amazing as they already are

  • Beautiful (:

  • great job I can feel it in the pit of my soul

  • "When to be silent, secretly."

Awesome and obscure. I love it; just like your songs.

  • @alacazam Plz plz puhleeeez try to remember that site, plz! :(

  • A masterpiece indeed!!! Love it to death!!!

  • Great photos. Keep on urbexing...

  • The genius of Nordstrom was that he never quite focussed on any one thing- yet left one with the feeling of experiencing an unbroken gestalt, a whole pattern amongst the blur and the shadows... this reminds me of that genius...

  • Where do you get Alacazam CDs? I couldn't find it on Google, Amazon, or Ebay :(. Thanks

  • @Killian286 im afraid i dont think she/he sells them, you have to search how change youtube audio to mp3's online, but they are amazing arent they )

  • Perfect for Silent Hill.

  • great stuff! i love dark ambient and opacity.us so this is pretty cool!

  • alacazam, how do you make Darm Ambient tracks? Using a synthesizer? Or?... Because I can't seem to figure that out. I mean, of course, I have my own, and a marimba to add to that effect, but still..

  • It sounds like something straight out of Resident Evil, if you don't know what that is, check it out, you sure as hell could do the music for it. and they'd like you.

  • y'know, i think i've found a musical sanctuary at last... thank you.

  • creepy on max !!!!

  • solo me acuesto, cierro los ojos y me dejo llevar

  • It takes quite a bit for only music to make me afraid to turn around.

  • very very nice song, i don't think dark is the right word at all though. Ambiance, my brain is happy

  • this is JUST what I needed. :) Now I'm calm as a cat.

  • @alacazam vdownloader :)

  • Very good, especially considering how difficult it is to create a compelling ambient music. Parts of it remind me of the Vangelis' soundtrack to Blade Runner.

  • @alacazam There's a video on my channel about how to capture youtubes audio with nothing but a basic sound recorder. Most PC's have them anyway.

  • I agree with AsureMidnyteSun...an album with your work would be most delightful to dark souls like ours. : ]

  • hi alacazam this one was not seen by me yet

  • Adoro gli edifici in disuso, non so come sia possibile, ma mantengono impresse le vite che gli hanno abitati...

  • some of these images looks like the ones in the Chernobyl Disaster

  • awesome stuff. keep it up.

  • This is incredible stuff; may I ask what programs you use? You have a really rich analogue kind of sound, which I am seriously digging! I'd appreciate your response!

    Peace.

  • this has a very lovecraftian feel. It works perfectly.

  • Is this your work? You should make an album.

  • WTF the Exit lights are still active?!

  • to jest genialne!!

  • The colors in the curtains are almost real, for puke green for as there is no sun and the only light is shattered in echoes of the flickering footsteps that never come in or out but still are going on in the box. Gel on the screams that drips from lips so loud that matter and time are the illusions of mind and dream. the dense exit of being on . SoOn .,

  • Stunning...

    That's a talent.

Say, would you want to write music for a game?

Your music would fit so well for ambience parts of music in our game.

  • Derelict asylums and hospitals are the creepiest places ever :)

  • great job man

  • i love it when it got to all the wheel chair part of the video everything from there was so.....well it fit in with the sadness and the creepyness so well especially all the medical stuff. you truly are a genius.

  • All you can see in the pictures is pain...

  • this is great for making a scary flim or making a halloween party :)

  • what can i say about this peice? It's so haunting, but has meaning behind it. I simply do love it, your a genius!

  • What an awesome comment, I am just trying to do my best, but thanks so much that means a lot. :)

  • Nice ambiance. I love Dark ambient music, it just fits some moments of my life...

  • I appreciate you taking the time to check it out and comment.

    Thanks.

  • @alacazam Alacazam, do you amke this music yourself? I feel such a connection with it, it's incredible.

  • The bed at 6:05 looks really disturbing, just at how worn out and dirty is look. Makes me wonder: What exactly happened there?.....

  • Pain and suffering leaves its mark, and though buildings and matter decay, the pain and suffering seems to live on ...

  • Abandoned places are the saddest places on earth in the walls are memories of past lives of sadness. my old house in scotland is worn down old manoir i vistied it last month because my father died ust a week before and i want to revist my childhood i had with him. when i walk though those doors that was probaly the most depressing express i have ever faced. the just to see th broken boared up windows and the toren down walls just remindied me of how i hated there and how i felt in prisoned

  • @GanjaWillSetYouFree

Would rather spend most of my free time alone, in an abandoned house. Rather than amongst everyone else. Offers much time for solitude, reflection, and clarity.

  • what ar the photos of looks like an abandoned mental hospital

  • incredible!

  • FAKE lmfaoo jkjkkjk. awesome video

  • Awesome!

  • wow i love is foto

  • perfekt !! well done

  • omg the beginning scared me lol

  • same here.. lol

  • lol better put... it annoyed the hell outta me

  • LMFAO!!!!!!! =D

  • Looks like such a place would have been pretty damn creepy even when full inhabited. - Nice video.

  • Great videooo!!!

  • wow...the sound and all the pictures are a perfect match :))) Great job !5*****

    xoxo

  • This is not so much a void and foreboding piece but more of a sad and reminiscent one, great job!

  • Thanks! :)

  • This music is wonderful! So calming, beautiful and strange. Keep up the good work!

  • GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • oh yeah...and put &fmt=18 on the URL of the vid...high quality =3

  • What kind of a place is this? And why did they leave it without cleaning up the construction?

  • Entropy cleans up everything in time.

  • oh my god....this ambient....I can hear it in my dreams PERFECTLY...if only my MP3 had enough power to repeat this song all night long 8D

  • I don't know why but whenever I listen to music like this, I want to look at the sky and even explore whats out there and perhaps even meet intelligent life forms.

    Thanks for sharing

  • Abandoned places. I look at them and think of the events that happened there, the people who lived there. The emotions that were felt there.

  • Me too! Thanks for watching and commenting. :)

  • Great images and music,again!

  • Thanks Bob!

  • The atmosphere and vibe of the music combined with the images, gives me a feeling of being there.. Walking these empty hallways, looking out the windows, seeing the people that once lived there.. Hearing wispers.. someone crying.. Like a nightmare, or a sad dream.. A sigh from another time... I feel I'm there.. A work of art :)

  • "gives me a feeling of being there"

Awesome, I want to make it like I am walking around and you are seeing what I see? Hmmm or something like that!

"Hearing wispers.. someone crying.. Like a nightmare, or a sad dream.. A sigh from another time... "

    Wow, yes! :)

  • Great job. Thanks for the video.

    Bob Fartall

    Thank you for sharing!!!!

    ..And Happy New Year!!

  • I stumbled acoss this when I got a e-mail notice saying it was a video response to one of my videos. Very nicely done!! The music fit perfectly and sent shivers down my spine as I watched the images in front of me.

  • thanks for the response

  • you make the noises?

  • Yes.

    Thanks for watching.

  • A strange beauty

  • Appreciate the view and comment.

  • at 02:30 its turns very interesting, visual and musically, that industrial desolation feeling blended with deep dark ambient its awesome.

Very nice work, my congrats and hails for the music and the images,

    regards

    =)

  • I really appreciate the feedback, thanks for watching and commenting.

  • This is awesome, no doubt in my mind you are an artist, but how comes nobody asks for more information about the music

  • Thanks for the comments. The music was really fun for this one. I just watched the scenes and played to the visuals. And then did a little editing/overdub work in Soundforge.

  • Wow. I love the spacey and atmospheric ambient music, and the visuals are awesome. For a long time, I've been fascinated with ghost towns such as Pripyat. I'd love to visit such a place coz I love the thought of just walking around and going into any building and doing whatever I please because I'm alone.

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • Conrats Mr Motts, you ve done a great work by photographing abandoned places.

  • Mr Motts is brilliant. His imagery is very inspiring to me. I scored this one after I had put together the images with no sound. I sat down at my synth and watched the images and really went into those places exploring as well. Way too much fun.

  • And you did a good job

  • Creepy, atmospheric, well put together. one of very few good ones on youtube. I have added it to my abandoned playlist for others to see.nice work.

  • Thank you very much for the kind words and sharing it with others. Much appreciated. :)

  • well crafted my friend -jPaul
