@EASlol I have a few 85's..but I take my damn time from 68-80...most people think BC was the best ..imo I think WOTLK was the best...yes it did have problems...yes I agree with a lot of them...but I still love it!
Howling Fjord...Not only did I fell in love with the music and the environment, it made me realise how natural life can be. I'm now saving money to move to an area like this one. Far away from society and it's barbies, macho's and mindless goons, so I can relax. The only price I really have to pray is to make my own stuff/food.
Long story short, Howling Fjord made me realise how badly I want to get in touch with my roots. Thank you, Blizzard.
Howling Fjord was like the Nagrand of WotLK, fun to level through, great atmosphere, BEAUTIFUL environment, and most of all, the absolutely stunning music. Didn't see a thing like this in Cata.
@ignis480 We have Mount Hyjal in Cata with the beautiful music. But too much of Hyjal was destroyed by fire so we cant see the true beauty of how the zone was.
The music is good but I never liked questing here the quests are a pain in the ass, but besides that this place is beautiful and I know that because I'm hunting here right now! I'm ALT TABBED lol
I play wow for a while now...it's my favorite game but i was never high lvl so i hope one day i get to this place...the atmosphere and the music is so epic and dreamfull, it remembers me of nordic culture and my favorite season...Winter
Every so often a section of a game just sticks with you--everyone remembers this stuff, like the last battle of Super Metroid, or the opera scene in Final Fantasy 6, or the opening area of God of War. They're the reasons we play games.
In World of Warcraft, Howling Fjord--the entire zone, but especially the early Alliance quests therein (both reclaiming the Ashbringer and confronting the Vrykul) was one of those moments.
This beautiful music is a very, very large part of the reason why.
BRING BACK WOTLK!!!

Music makes a game timeless and acts as a carrier of emotions, combined with the landscapes it was a magic experience.

@Wowmusicable If you've played through to the end of Hyjal you'll know that *MASSIVE SPOILER* you essentially "regrow" Hyjal.
Scrabblet2 1 day ago
@Scrabblet2 I know, but the regrowth only takes part in a small area of Hyjal. The whole southern part of the zone is still burned and sterile.
