if a two ft tank is fine for my two axolotls then a 3 ft is good for one =__= the poor little girl looked stuck there for a bit... and duuuh ppl its OBVIOUS its a female... but then again, i love axolotls, so yeah... i can see that :P
Haha Shes Gorgeous ^^. Its found that she is actually looking at her Reflection. Thats what happened when I got my First axolotl ever and she was lonley. Now I have two more and they dont chase their reflection because they have ecachother.
lol yip she gets very excited when i intro new live food for them she go's nuts hunting them down lol my male is quiet and hates the light so he go's bizzerk and spends the day in there cave but strangely my female doesn't mind the light she has a fascination with the filter at the moment and likes to sit on it and chases the bubbles from air stone but only if i turn it down
Lol thats funny. I just got 3 and I hope one's a girl. =) They were from a science supply place and I didn't get to choose the color or sex of them. =(
hi dantezgirl from caudata seems many people are not reading the comments and seem to repeat them selfs i love your axie just beautiful they are a worry and a lot of fun to watch lol here in newzealand we hav not got many white albino so im dieing to find one have two one leusistic male and one wild type female and there offspring any way hope everything go's well good luck and keep up the good work D.G
Oh hello. I posted this mostly for the forum on caudata or when people are stressing because their axie is swimming too much (you know the type) Thought it would give a good example of a perfectly healthy axie going hyper. This was just after a not eating spell of 13 weeks,
she had just got back onto eating bloodworms and i put a couple of quarantined guppies in, with the water change, her bubble stone (you must know what female axies are like with vibrating things by now ;) ) and her food hiding behind the ornament..... One very excited axie. Plus her new boyfriend was being intoduced that day
I got a black 1 on the weekend, his name is Owen (wat do u feed urs? arry likes squid! I was feeding them 2day and he 8 about 8 peices, he's little-ish now)
I'm thinking of getting some Axy's, wonder if i can get a shallow tank with a massive surface area, seeing as they stick to the bottom most of the time hmm
plus there is a bubble stone that goes on very rarely which makes her go crazy as she love the bubbles tickling her belly. Usually put on as a distraction whilst the tank gets cleaned out.
Im getting one!
