Ronnie Le Tekro was one of the great yet realatively unheralded guitar players of the 80s. I'd match his licks up against Eddie VanHalen ANYDAY!!!

@fcarlone62 I would suggest more like Jimmy Page; not 'necessarily' a great lead player, but one helluva songwriter ;) Eddie is pretty much untouchable - but not 'untouchable' - from an overall standpoint.

Let's put things into perspective. when this album came out in 1984 le Tekro was years ahead of anyone else. Not only on ability, but on the use of the harmoniser, technique and overall talent per square inch of body fat. I have seen them live. The sound hit you in the chest. You went home knowing you had witnessed a unique sound.

OMFG!! I used to bang away daily at Dial MTV for this (YouTube is glorious!) This tune – and specifically that brilliantly engineered bass break and solo - lit me up back in the day. That guitar player, Ronnie Le Tekro, just owns. 1yr free from high school I’m like, “Um, I wanna be like THAT guy! That guy, right there. I wanna be THAT!” Guitar slayer w/cutting style (visually and musically). Just nailed it right on the head for me. That’s good stuff, man...

So fuckin great...The lead vocal is Tony Hansen..later change to Tony Harnell. This song is taken from the TNT album Knights of the thunder. The guitar player is Ronnie Le tekrö and plays in different band..check out Wild Willys Gang. In Wild Willys Gang he played with Igor from U.D.O....Ronnie is the greatest and TNT is the BEST...............Long live rock`n roll from Norway
