This is awesome, during rush hour traffic switch on the autopilot, don't have to deal with stop and go traffic. When you feel like you just gotta drive, switch on the manual control.

Suppose you got drunk at the party, tired etc. You may turn on autopilot and have a nap.
You may suddenly be at some place without you car (remain it at home or you parked it in another side of building). You car will be able to drive up to you. Robot won't steal you toy it'll make it more fun.
It just pisses me off when people say stuff like: "what's the point to let the computer drive u thru the road like this?" or "i dont see the point of it and why you would want to make a sport car that isnt driven by man".
They didn't invent this so they could sent hundreds of sports cars up a mountain. Its demonstrating an innovation in technology that could be used in millions of different ways to improve peoples lives.
@resomer am pretty sure u will have to set the car to take you were ever. type in an adress or somthing. and i dont think u will be any good at that either when drunk
Ya cool. But really, the car was most likely pogrammed at first place to do that, and it won't work on the streets. I don't think iPhone cars will be legal on the streets in future.
