I feel if I was born in the wrong decade sometimes ! I'm only 13 and I love Julie to pieces ! She is so beautiful, graceful, elegant, and talented ! I hope to be on broadway someday and follow in her footsteps ! I love you, Julie and I always will ! (:
I Don't think it's that uncommon for us younger generation to like Julie Andrews and other people of her era as they are so incredibly talented, we just have good taste : )

Thank you so much, I've never seen this performance before. It happens I'm writing this on Christmas night, and part of the beloved ritual is listening to Julie's Christmas albums. I wasn't feeling that good before I put them on, but then my spirit soared, thanking God I got to hear that voice again. Now it's Christmas!
she's a genius and it brings tears to my eyes to hear "Wouldn't it be Loverly". A pox on the filmmakers who didn't go with her as Eliza but at least we have the album and a few clips like this. Thanks for posting, I love her so. She'll go on forever.
Wonderful! In fact only the first song ("Wouldn't it be loverly") is from My Fair Lady. The other two songs are "Someone to watch over me" by George Gershwin and "I'll follow my secret heart" by Noël Coward.
Those lips would be something to kiss!
