  • @ShoeBoxHD yes. I made one like that

  • Have a great day

  • Will it work it if I have a plastic pen with a paper clip connected to the sponge and my hand?

  • haha classic, also looking for a stylus for a Samsung phone XD

~ brilliant George, two thumbs up for you :)

  • will it work on the ipod touch?

  • Will it still work if the sponge dries?!

  • Have a good day!

  • nice, but dammit all the metal pens on my house dissapear when i need one

  • @McFhurer just use a piece of wire...

  • @IgorPcar yep i did that and it works great

  • Awesome!

  • i might try this if the my stylus doesn't come in soon. they're cheap on ebay though.

  • lol i have that exact pen lol

  • Your scratching the hell out of you phone

  • @Doscar385 With a sponge.... I don't think so.

  • :P

  • good thinking

  • DOESN"T WORK :((

  • i can already hear you scratching the screen...

  • wow one I finally like I'll try this thanks!

  • Thanks love it straight to the point

  • Thanks.........

  • It works! Thanks!

  • Do your fingers have to touch the metal, or will it work even if the pen has a rubber handle?

  • I didnt actually think this would work. It did! You just have to barely dampen the sponge and ring it out so it is soft.

  • @MSNWindows7

you dont even have to do that! it worked with a completely dry sponge for me, maybe just lick the tip of your finger and touch the sponge but i didnt even do anything and it worked perfectly fine! great video, saved me 20 buck

  • Wut kind of phone looks cool

  • does it work with the screen protector??

  • Does it work for the Itouch ?

  • Works perfect thanks

  • it has to be metal because the screen works through an electric current, so if the pen wasnt metal, the electric current wouldnt pick up the stylus touch.

  • Dose It Have To Be Metal

  • @TheBrandon513 Yes, it must be metal.

  • That didn't work on my Droid X.

  • Stylus review

  • Works like a charm! Thanks.

  • I'm going to have to try this. :OO

    -needs a capacitive stylus-

  • would an antenna (like those from radios) work?

  • so basiclally get a dish wash sponge and shove it in a pen

  • @MRmagnatron it has to be a metal pen.

  • Also works for iPad. :D check my vid out on making smart cover for IPad 2.

  • Thank you SO much! This worked beautifully!

  • 0:27 thats what she said

  • omg i love you right now!! ive been looking and everyone says conductive foam and steel wool and all this other stuff the nearly no regular person has but a SPONGE!!! thank you so much!!

  • Hey where'd you get that wallpaper?

  • @390kayla well lots of people already have the supplies at home so for a lot of people it is free lol but yeah thats a good point

  • sweet many thanks this works quite well ... any metal shaft will do as long as the metal contacts your hand and the sponge ... i tried it first with a pen with a metal tip and plastic shaft and it only worked when i was touching the tip ... fwiw

  • This is awesome! Works on iPad, iPhone, Droid, Asus Transformer! Thanks for the DIY video

  • Yea. Stick that sponge in there

  • Foam isn't free

    Pen isn't free

    Shitty samsung isn't free

    So its not free

  • @sdprogamr01 it is if u swipe it from a friends house

  • @sdprogamr01 that samsung isn't shitty :( unless u meant his one :D

  • yes it works for apple protucts because it works for my ipad

  • As soon as he said android I stopped the video...

    

  • thats my exact phone

  • Wow how did u get tht animation background

  • @sydthesquid1001 If your saking for Itouch, Iphone or ipad you need to be jailbroken but for an android out hit the little settings button click on wallpaper click on live wall paper and then select one and then your done :)

  • Does this work with apple products

  • @gamemonster323 yi it does work on apple products

  • Because then it will detect the electricity from ur finger.

  • Why does it have to have a metal pen?

  • George.... do you know what in the sponge is making it work on a capacitive screen? Does it work on the apple products?

  • @MarniAlisa The sponge has an excellent capability to store moisture. This and the metal housing that is used provides a static charge that is released evenly. Yes I believe it will work on an I-Phone

  • Comment removed

  • @MarniAlisa No it won´t work -.-

  • wow it also cleans the screen while using

  • @ahzhang452 good comment.

  • hey thx they really do work!!

  • wow normal sponge actually work? i was hunting for ages for a piece of conductive foam..

  • That's ghettorific!!!!! Good video George.

  • OMG. Thank you so much for the video! I was about to throw away the cheap "capacitive pen" I bought on eBay that was crap but was able to remove the top and put on a piece of sponge, cut the rough edges, and works like a charm! Thanks again!

  • Just a regular sponge, like the kind you find at the 99 cent stores. Not the natural sponge type, the cheap kind. Hmmm, might try the natural stuff myself!!
