Captain Phil Harris seemed like the nicest man you could have ever meet,his sense of humour,his loveing and caring nature was what made the show what it was today,he knew how to bring sea fishing to life on tv as if he was teaching you in real life you were always sat on the edge of your seat wondering what was coming next,my condolences to his sons Jacob and Josh and their family at this time and may his spirit help heal the family over time as they deal with the grieving process.

Capt. Phil was always my fav next to Capts Johnathan and Andy of the Time Bandit he will be missed very much. Every time I go by the seafood dept. in the grocery store and see the king crabs makes me wonder who caught them. I think Phil will be watching over Josh and Jake and the guys on the Cornelia Marie.

@BADFISHHHHHH Being the rugged outdoorsy type can't be good for ones health. Injury, general abuse to your body from working hard etc.

In chess, you can start at 5 and make your last move at 95 without leaving a chair, with just as many interesting stories to tell along the way as the hardscrabble folks.

@BADFISHHHHHH When capsizing is a possibility, yes. Chess is not boring at all. People would not do that to themselves. Every tournament has hundreds of participants.The only problem with chess is that it is hard at first and takes a couple of years to play well. Then after that when one can understand what is going on in the game, it's awesome. Try it, Every town has a chess club. What ya think? I'm scamming you? I just want people to stop sweating and start thinking. It's my legacy.
