  • low cut you should tell that to Giada of Foodnetwork........shame on her!!!!!

  • the frosting looks disgusting on the sponge cake. it's like super liquid..

  • "it's ok if it cracks like that because you're gonna cover the whole thing with frosting" lol no, the cake is not supposed to crack, and those are some big cracks... and I'm not even going to criticize her appearance, if she wants to wear low cut dresses she's entitled to do so, but as this is a "cooking" video, you just can't have your hair all over the place and manipulate the food with your freshly painted nails.

  • Comment removed

  • no apron

    hair down

    wearing ring and nail polish

she doesn't even want to touch that cake

wtf?...so that's how a editor in chief sud be...b happy at least she rolls that beautifully

  • she sure knows how to handle that log

    v.v

  • the second cake no is the same to the first,, fake :X

  • why is everyone whining i wish she wasnt wearing anything let those milk bags hang out i luv milkbags there great

  • the teacher is more beautiful than the cake!

  • at 1:20 I here a bull doser or something backing up!

  • when i tryed to make a jelly roll cake it broke apart when i tried to roll it up it wasnt stretchy enough what cake batter did you use for your roll? yours turned out really good

  • I've made cake rolls and I can tell you this is NOT how you make it! My cake rolls never crack. It means you baked it too long. Secondly, you roll the flour sack towel with the cake to keep it from sticking when you unroll it.

  • @OneHappyBird123 That's what I was thinking! I'm making a yule log for the first time with my dad today, and ours didn't crack at all and we rolled the towel up with the cake...

  • good appetite you can have my portion i dont want to anymore even if very very hungry no way thank you mam

  • Jesus, what kind of low-class wannebe cooking video is this? to call an exusable failure of a regular jelly roll "an authentic Bouche Noel?"... Is the woman from Los Angeles? Does she just want to expose her breasts by wearing a low-cut dress? or what?... Disgusting. A waste of time. A waste of Youtube. An insult. Low-class.

  • its not supposed to crack you idiot. and i agreewith zwee

  • chill out ppl, other people didn't open this vid and watch to see weather or not she wears an apron or looks professional...she is just showing us how to do something simple....

  • i was looking for the jelly recipe and found this. Where's the jelly??

  • This videos make me hungry

  • there is a reason why they created tanks/ undershirts. try using one.

  • The shirt isn't even THAT low-cut. Besides, it's not like she looks bad. I guess the opinion on this depends on the age of the commenter. There have definitely been worse on youtube.

  • i would just like to point out that nobody put a gun to her head and said "wear this lowcut shirt on your swiss roll demonstration". good lord...of all the things to worry about these days

  • Roll cakes look delicious.

& you know you live in a sexually repressed society when a little cleavage gets so much attention. Give me a break.

  • you should wear gloves!

  • nasty nasty. dont seduce people when doing a cooking tutorial , its not appropriate. get another job

  • Honestly, the lowcut top is quite tacky.

She really is too old to not know better.

  • OK epicurious !

whats with the cleavage ! Totally not necessary !! Overkill ! Look what yu done did !! Perverts coming out of the woodwork...give me a break !

  • k am i crazy or does she really resemble nigella lawson?????

  • You are crazy. She doesn't.

  • no she has nigella teeth

  • whos lookin at teeth lol look at those tits lol

  • I have a jelly roll she can slide between those tits..and it has a cream filling too

  • nasty! lol

  • i prefer the girl more than the cake.hehe

  • lol...

  • It's easier to buy them at the stores but they quit selling them.

  • It's not okay if it cracks like that!!! Sometimes (actually often) we don't want to cover the surface with frosting. In fact, most of the time my family doesn't want the frosting on the outside, only a little in the inside.

  • that's a pretty stupid comment

  • Why thank you for your evaluation! You get a Simon Cowell Award :) I really appreciate your boot. Thanks! :)

  • lol i tryed making one b4 but it didn.t came out rite in da pic so i just ate da cake part=D i should hav watched this vid b4 making da jelly roll=D i FAILED=(...lol

  • Slightly underbake the cake...Cool the cake first...fill the cake with filling...roll with parchment paper and then you don't have to roll and re roll...

  • I noticed that too. The camera seemed to stay on her a little bit longer than necessary. :)

  • i got jelly roll'd.

  • Given the boobs and all it's rather sensual how she fondles the roll in the end.

And i chose to believe that you all were thinking that too.

  • you actually use linen cloth and you roll it up with the cake having powdered sugar in between the cake and linen. Linen does not have lint.

  • parchment works better

  • You need the towel to roll the log because if you don't use one the cake crumbles into pieces. You also don't want to roll too tight otherwise the cake "folds" at the seam and cracks.

  • boobies

  • Why doesnt she jst roll it with her hands and without the teatowel? instead of faffing with it?:S

"jst like the sushi guys do" lmaoooo

ANDDD there isnt any filling in tht flippin cake!!

  • Cleavage: provocative? yes. Professional? no.

    No apron = unprofessional.

Not properly rolling up the sleeves = fail.

Loose hair dangling into your face and work = unappealing.

Gaudy rings should be removed too; not very sanitary.

She also fusses daintily with the filling and her spatulas...like she's afraid to touch the food. WTF?

All in all a pointless video.

  • @zwee "Gaudy rings should be removed too; not very sanitary."

Then you'd hate to watch GUY'S BIG BITE on the Food Network. Tanya has nothing on Guy Fieri's rings, trust me.

  • @zwee its really all for the camera. in a real foodservice setting she would have to wear an apron and headtie

  • she should have worn an apron... i wish they showed the recipe of the filling too...

  • yeah, she should have because her something something is a big distraction...hehe

  • @Annija089

I think it is pastry cream. Very simple recipe. You can find it anywhere on the web.

    Success:)

  • @Annija089 she tells you that the recipe is from their website.

  • hahahaha

    that is so true

i think they meant to do it on purpose to destroy the stereotype of ugly-fat woman in the kitchen.

  • Wait. Why did she roll it and then un-roll it? That was a little redundant.

  • To make it easier to roll once filled

  • geesh! that cleavage

  • ...just like the sushi guys do...lol

    great video~

  • Pre-rolling allows the cake to assume the log-shape while cooling. It's best not to put filling, particularly cream filling, in a hot cake; it causes it to melt and become more absorbed into the cake itself, leaving it gooey and not a distinct layer of jelly or cream. The towel will in some way help to prevent burned fingers, too. - Pj

  • this method is very pointless if your going to make a yule log spread the filling first before you roll it, or else your just going to be wasting time and food from the dough breaking

  • I don't get it... Why use the towel? It just seems like its more of a hassle

  • I totally agree! I have never known the point of that.
