Dude bucket most absolutely, positively has some form of carpal tunnel damage, or some phalangial complication. I see the guy live whenever he is around and backstage he is constantly applying pressure to his digits to prevent cramping

That doesn't mean that he's got damage. I do the same thing, and my hands are in perfect condition, better than most guys my age. If Buckethead had some kind of complication, it would be very difficult, almost impossible even, for him to play songs as complicated as he does.

Comparative to your average person, Bucket would have close to 200-300% more joint use and movement.
