Lethbridge College Disability Services - Student Experiences (Stephen)

I have had a lifelong learning Disability. I need people to specifically explain things to me in great detail or else I don't understand. I also have Severe Dyscalculia (Unable to balance a checkbook) or do math beyond 5th grade level. I still don't have my G.E.D because of multiple failed attempts. I tried to go to college, but after being unable to do the work, they asked me to leave the campus, something I will never forget so long as I live. It was extremely humiliating to me.
