@DrangNilsson there's another server also , Scriptcraft wow , both servers are good , but im pretty much a "easy wow mode" guy..thats why im not playing those servers.

heh, i have all the old Warcraft RTS games aswell. it doesn't matter if a character is created in the MMO or in the old RTS games, he is still a rather cool character.
arthas is an amazing villian. he has done terrible things, but you can't help but feel sympathetic to his past. as sad as it is, arthas' death is obviously inevitable. you can't just have him die of old age. haha, that'd be terrible.
besides, bolvar isn't the 'replacement'. he's just closure, to keep the scourge at bay.

So a badass? I think not.

After Illidan died my hopes where down but atleast he had a good raid. BUT SERIOUSLY Icecrown citadel raid? Shame on U. Arthas killed Uther the lightbringer probs the best paladin ever and now some nubisch second hand paladin comes along and one shot him?

God damned you Blizzard, because of you i stop playing WoW, because I played the game because of Arthas and his story. He was my favorite charachter and idol in WC3 and WoW. Everything that "Hitler" says in the video is true.

But being completely honest- I'm glad that there are people out there who share this point of view. I left WoW after patch 3.3 I'm not going to come back. The game ended for me with the pathetic death of the only character I actually liked.

No, she was in first Starcraft game, so like 4 years before Warcraft III, concepts older than that mostly include whole story turning around Thrall, especially since Warcraft Adventures project was sadly terminated.
Arthas is not a creative character, its the Sarah Kerrigan of Warcraft. He was human, later, he passed to the evil side (Zerg-Undead) and later, he take the power being the king of the undead (Lich King / Queen of Blades). So, Arthas is not a creative character, and I think thats why Blizzard kill him. I didnt liked the idea, but its blizzard, and they make fun of their games anyways. (and money)
I must agree with you friend... altho I've had a hard time gettin used to a few WoTLK raid fights... I must admit that I'd have loved to see Pre-BC content. I've heard from my hardcore friends that IT WAS the shit, it was WoW to its best. I've started as a casual ... but ended as a semi-hardcore. I could go to any fights, do what I was being told to do and get myself the rewards and the fame. I wasn't the best rogue around in WoTLK but I was doing what a rogue was meant to do. Shame on Blizz.

BC was an improvement on what came before but it was also filled with flaws that were thankfully later corrected. Those who whine that they can't hog content to themselves are the real brats here.
Oh god I know the feeling, I loved the lore around Arthas, and when I saw his death the first time I acctually shed a tear. and the thought of a 100% Pre-TBC server sounds good, since now it's easier to play then it is to find your way out of the sandbox.
On a second note: Is there anyone else then me that felt Hitlers end = Lich Kings end? Relative fast and faster, until it was just "Paff" all that is over?
I also agree with 'TheAshenWanderer'.. When i started playing Warcaft 1, 2, 3 and Frozen Throne,i thought it was one of the most breath-taking gameseries ever invented. it got better and better, until i heard Illidan Stormrage got killed. that's kinda weird. it would be better if he died in the WC3:FT ending, and the fact that they killed Arthas Menethil, AKA The Lich King ruined it all. that is the worst ending of a game series i've ever seen! Profit has gotten to blizzards heads..Shame on you!
I think wow was better when it concentrated more on lore then on players working for a week on and off and getting anything they need.
I actually found it fun when every level range you got players who knew their classes, knew how to play and we didn't have to deal with players who got carried through random dungeons up to level 85 and don't even know how to dps, tank, or heal.
This movie gave Hitler a 'human' face. And this scene is just epic. On topic: Agree, the most epic bad guy in game history is gone and WoW will never be what it was....

Speaking as a person who used to play wow i get so annoyed at these whinners "PRE BC PLZZ" now there are these morons saying pre wrath BC was the best.... if you are so small minded that you think that a phenominon like wow wasnt going to expand and play to a larger audience (the casual market) then you are a small minded fool. The argument has to be made though. WoW has not only expanded it's own profits, but it has also widely expanded the MMORPG markets as a whole. Before WoW, the most popular MMO had about half a million players.
Now that the markets have grown, there will be room for games that cater to more refined tastes. No one is going to beat WoW in terms of casual players for a while, but other game companies might try a more specialized approach, if they can see that there are markets for it.
I spit on tha american 10 years old kids market. Sure, wotlk have great things, but i was lore mashing play, cataclysm have nice graphic but is simplifing (and also destroying) the game mechanics... The true is that, that the vanilia was the best, because it was freakin hard, blizz just show'd "fack ya all nOObz" and make the best mmo... now they are only living on the prebc/tbc nolifes. I totally agree with it... Who played WC3 knows what Arthas meant for WC as well as WoW... He is the best villain ever developed and his end was so...easy... I still believe that Blizzard will come up with Arthas's character again, 'cause he is legendary.
They kept KJ in the burning crusade (imo they should of kept illidan too but just my opinion) they may as well have kept arthas for old times sake, I am completely uninterested in Cata so I quit
I have to agree with Hitler, on this one. The Lich King, was defeated, by the crusade, in what? A few months, lore wise? He was slain, in his own citadel by some cheap, deus ex machina, power move by Tirion praying to the light, and some how breaking Frostmourne instantly. Then a bunch of trapped souls raising the party, who then proceed to kill Arthas, who is being held in the air!
That shouldn't have been the fate of, one of the most feared, and powerful characters in Azeroth. It was a joke.

@TheAshenWanderer actually i believe it took azeroth 2 years to defeat the lich king, and in terms of wow time, that is quite a while, i mean the entire span of time since warcraft 1 to cata now cant be more than 50 years and 20 of them were spent doing nothing, And an expansion based around the lich king being the biggest villian, i think we all saw this coming, i mean what would have been better, arthas turning good again, i dun think so, and the scene where he dies is epic and a fitting end.

The story had to move on we couldn't fight the lich king forever, I raged till my penis split in two when they killed illidan and zul'jin you know what I was told? "Suck it up."

Oh my god, this video is funny but i have to point this out. This is exactly how i felt about when arthas died. I read arthas: rise of the lich king, and i couldn't help but realize how much bullshit blizzard is doing to ruin there game and make it friendly to 10 year old players. WoW is still a good game, but i just wish they would stop murdering lore. I mean, cmon. They made deepholm underneath the maelstrom, when its supposed to be in the eastern kingdoms...

Games need to be made for casual gamers...it's a much larger market and it's growing fast. People don't have the time nor the interest to pour their lives into a fantasy world.
Sure, if your parents pay for everything and you're unemployed, good for you, but for the rest of us who have to deal with the demands of real life, we'd like to be competitive enough within a game to still enjoy it, without having to devote our every waking moment to playing it.
Hitler got it right here, Arthas should not be killed, he is a fucking god. At least kill him in a final battle against the dark titan or something more suitable, not in this crappy way.
Since Blizz owns the rights to its story, it cannot ruin it. It is there story, what they do with it is up to them and should never be labelled as "ruining". Yes, Bolvar was a bit of an unknown character, but all he is now is "The Jailer of the Damned" he's nothing overly special like Arthas, anyone can play his role so its not huge sacrilege because he is not a replacement for Arthas. And it was said in the beginning: Arthas would be killable.

Me, I think that they should've saved Arthas' demise for Warcraft IV. Arthas became the Lich King in the central Warcraft series, and he should die in it, instead of dying in World of Warcraft, solely because WoW is wildly popular. Now, if Blizzard wants to focus so heavily on WoW, that's fine, it's way too successful for them not to, but I just wish that they would stay grounded.

Well... for the first time in my life I find myself on the same page as Hitler...
But being completely honest- I'm glad that there are people out there who share this point of view. I left WoW after patch 3.3 I'm not going to come back. The game ended for me with the pathetic death of the only character I actually liked.

Arthas is not a creative character, its the Sarah Kerrigan of Warcraft. He was human, later, he passed to the evil side (Zerg-Undead) and later, he take the power being the king of the undead (Lich King / Queen of Blades). So, Arthas is not a creative character, and I think thats why Blizzard kill him. I didnt liked the idea, but its blizzard, and they make fun of their games anyways. (and money)

I must agree with you friend... altho I've had a hard time gettin used to a few WoTLK raid fights... I must admit that I'd have loved to see Pre-BC content. I've heard from my hardcore friends that IT WAS the shit, it was WoW to its best. I've started as a casual ... but ended as a semi-hardcore. I could go to any fights, do what I was being told to do and get myself the rewards and the fame. I wasn't the best rogue around in WoTLK but I was doing what a rogue was meant to do. Shame on Blizz.

Oh god I know the feeling, I loved the lore around Arthas, and when I saw his death the first time I acctually shed a tear. and the thought of a 100% Pre-TBC server sounds good, since now it's easier to play then it is to find your way out of the sandbox.
On a second note: Is there anyone else then me that felt Hitlers end = Lich Kings end? Relative fast and faster, until it was just "Paff" all that is over?

When i started playing Warcaft 1, 2, 3 and Frozen Throne,i thought it was one of the most breath-taking gameseries ever invented. it got better and better, until i heard Illidan Stormrage got killed. that's kinda weird. it would be better if he died in the WC3:FT ending, and the fact that they killed Arthas Menethil, AKA The Lich King ruined it all. that is the worst ending of a game series i've ever seen! Profit has gotten to blizzards heads..Shame on you!

I think wow was better when it concentrated more on lore then on players working for a week on and off and getting anything they need.
I actually found it fun when every level range you got players who knew their classes, knew how to play and we didn't have to deal with players who got carried through random dungeons up to level 85 and don't even know how to dps, tank, or heal.

The argument has to be made though. WoW has not only expanded it's own profits, but it has also widely expanded the MMORPG markets as a whole. Before WoW, the most popular MMO had about half a million players.
Now that the markets have grown, there will be room for games that cater to more refined tastes. No one is going to beat WoW in terms of casual players for a while, but other game companies might try a more specialized approach, if they can see that there are markets for it.

I have to agree with Hitler, on this one. The Lich King, was defeated, by the crusade, in what? A few months, lore wise? He was slain, in his own citadel by some cheap, deus ex machina, power move by Tirion praying to the light, and some how breaking Frostmourne instantly. Then a bunch of trapped souls raising the party, who then proceed to kill Arthas, who is being held in the air!
That shouldn't have been the fate of, one of the most feared, and powerful characters in Azeroth. It was a joke.

@TheAshenWanderer actually i believe it took azeroth 2 years to defeat the lich king, and in terms of wow time, that is quite a while, i mean the entire span of time since warcraft 1 to cata now cant be more than 50 years and 20 of them were spent doing nothing, And an expansion based around the lich king being the biggest villian, i think we all saw this coming, i mean what would have been better, arthas turning good again, i dun think so, and the scene where he dies is epic and a fitting end.

Im not sure if you knew but the ashbringer was created from an item of pure light, and it was ment to defeat the scourge, which it did. Oh my god, this video is funny but i have to point this out. This is exactly how i felt about when arthas died. I read arthas: rise of the lich king, and i couldn't help but realize how much bullshit blizzard is doing to ruin there game and make it friendly to 10 year old players. Games need to be made for casual gamers...it's a much larger market and it's growing fast. People don't have the time nor the interest to pour their lives into a fantasy world.
Sure, if your parents pay for everything and you're unemployed, good for you, but for the rest of us who have to deal with the demands of real life, we'd like to be competitive enough within a game to still enjoy it, without having to devote our every waking moment to playing it.

Since Blizz owns the rights to its story, it cannot ruin it. It is there story, what they do with it is up to them and should never be labelled as "ruining". Yes, Bolvar was a bit of an unknown character, but all he is now is "The Jailer of the Damned" he's nothing overly special like Arthas, anyone can play his role so its not huge sacrilege because he is not a replacement for Arthas. And it was said in the beginning: Arthas would be killable.

i agree, they did fuck the game up. they also made it way too easy to get gear. my first 80 too a long ass time to get geared, my second 80 took maybe 3 or 4 weeks and i was already in toc 25 =/ they should put pre bc and pre wotlk serves in too. but we cant do anything about it, they know that the long time hardcore players probably wont quit even if they do make it easy, all making it easy will do is add new casual players. all about money.

Me, I think that they should've saved Arthas' demise for Warcraft IV. Arthas became the Lich King in the central Warcraft series, and he should die in it, instead of dying in World of Warcraft, solely because WoW is wildly popular. Now, if Blizzard wants to focus so heavily on WoW, that's fine, it's way too successful for them not to, but I just wish that they would stay grounded.
