Oh morny you must pay attention, I said the roots of democracy, three clauses are still law today, one being the right to trial by jury, think you'll find that's in the American Bill of Rights, Magna Carta was the foundation for common law, the first time a King became subject to the law not above it, whether he abided by it was another thing it was still one of the most important historical documents, little bit before your supposed modern Democracy.
