Just beat the game, load a successive game, reach chapter 13, go to the hayabusa village(from the twin serpents plaza) and the dark dragon blade will be on the second floor of the open house.

I completed ninja gaiden from every angle possible but I still love it. Desperately waiting for number 2.. The best part in the game is when he battles Doku the second time and becomes a fiend... if you play on master ninja difficulty... those skeleton fishes are a real pain in the neck... and most bosses spawn minions without break... Great fun though

you need your dragon sword leveled up to the max... with the jewel upgrade as well. you get the jewel later in the game, don't remember after what chapter.
