@marktsheppard The so called bio gas produce high carbon as well. How much wind or solar energy can poland produce. Has poland even got the money. What if the government agrees, and then uses money for healthcare,education and social care for the new projects.

ok the problem isnt so simple. Climate change is not only about co2 emmisions, in fact, this is probably only a small part(Indeed methane is a much worse greenhouse gas). A major part if climate change is the destruction of carbon sinks via habitat destruction...Using renewable energy might produce less greenhouse gases, but it occupies much more land....this will equal habitat destruction.

Its both arrogant and lazy to consider this problem simple.
