the bluetongue would NEVER win against a magpie...fullstop. magpie has wings and super powerful beak. Blue tongues are not accurate defenders and basically just hiss then flee unless cornered. ever heard of a kookaburra...well they live on blue tongues and they are smaller than magpies

bluetougnes are usaully found near WA or vic where you can find them are at the beach or just in the backyard there not very rare to find

It's a Blue Tongue Skink of some type - possibly Northern. BTSkinks are common in Aus...also common in the US pet trade. I have several Irian Jayas which are from Indonesian and Australian counterbreedings.
